I am grateful for my life. I am still alive after so many periods of alternating elevated and depressed moods. Suicide has been contemplated on several occasions but, somehow, I've been able to fight off the thoughts each time. Perhaps I am stronger that I thought. ♥

What are you grateful for today?
The night city grows
Look at the horizon glow
Drinking in the lights
Following the neon signs
Looking at the milky skyline
The city is my church
It wraps me in blinding twilight...

What are you grateful for today?

today I am grateful that no one has mentioned my birthday, which would make me feel worse than I all ready am.

I am grateful that I have enough oranges for my breakfast

for music
for no flashbacks yet today

I am grateful for the coda meeting today, and the awareness it brings me. It's painful to talk about my feelings and yet liberating. I kept my emotions so much inside that just talking about them make me see how lonely I have been inside all those years.
I am grateful for my Surgeon, even though he exaggerated a bit he reassured me.
To my super power or god, he guides me to the right ressources to bring awareness to my situation so that I can improve them.
I am grateful that my confidence is back, and with it my feminine energy.

grateful for a really delicious fruit salad for breakfast today (it was really nice actually!)

grateful for not being triggered by my soap opera, even though they touched on something difficult to deal with
grateful that even though the chinese ended up being closed last night, I still ended up able to order in a takeaway (just chicken in sted)

I'm grateful for having health insurance even if it doesn't cover the medication that I need.
