Pretty busy. Made pumpkin pancakes for breakfast, had PT, went for a walk in a nature preserve and took some pictures, and helped with dinner tonight.

Today was okay. I did some chores and finished the cube I filed out of a piece of 5/8 brass round stock. I'm happy with it especially since it is square and the sides were only off by .001". I'm determined to master filing metal.

My day was stressful. My husband has been in a cranky mood lately leading to a big fight earlier in the week. Now he's wanting me to do things that I'm uncomfortable doing and don't know if I can do I'm feeling guilty as well. Just a bad day.

Thus far, it's been a good one. My son came over for a roast chicken lunch. Afterwards I showed him how to turn the leftovers into a soup. And then we spent the afternoon playing cards.

It was okay. Picked up my meds this morning, and had a temporary crown put in this afternoon. It still hurts but not too bad. I think I can sleep with it.

Friday-saw the brilliant film Hidden Figures about three black women who worked for NASA in the 1960's during segregation, they were responsible for getting the first American Astronaut in space,Katherine Johnson did all the mathematical calculations that got the space shuttle safely down to earth again.Mary Jackson became the first woman engineer ever to work on the space program and Dorothy Vaughan was also a mathematician working with the first IBM computers at Nasa. All three were hidden figures from history, hidden because they were not only women but black women.

After the film I had a meal at Nandos,it was very enjoyable, and it was a good day for me as my mood was good for a change.

For doing a lot I have accomplished very little. A lot of painting, reading, and journalling thus far today.

A woman friend picked up her clothes she left at my apt. She came here a few days ago and thought she left with all her belongings. She lives in a shelter and I'm trying to help her with housing. She told me today she found a case manager. I hope and pray he can help her get housing. I'm not a sexist. She told me her case manager is male. I did some colored pencil drawings of women and men earlier in the day. Promoted my blog Its in the sig.

Not too bad a day,got chores done, been online, started a more mindful diet,no animal products, healthy salads, soups, aiming to lose a lot of weight because I am obese. Also to prevent cancer because I have abnormal cells.
I was in a better mood today, spoke to my mum on the phone a few times.
Today was a better day all round.

Up and down.

My neighbor called to ask me to help with a art exhibit at our church. I got confused about the day and she ended up taking care of it herself. I think she's frustrated with me.

But, I got three loads of laundry done and a set of photos up on Flickr.

It started off bad with my husband yelling at me, so I don't know how the rest will go, but it doesn't look good.

Um, not great. It's my birthday today. I had some loose plans arranged to go for lunch but wasn't hungry but my mum had arranged for my sister to get here for a certain time to eat. So they had lunch in town and I didn't - I didn't mind that but them getting angry with me and caring more about those arrangements than what I wanted to do I did mind. I wanted to go to the cinema yesterday or today but they pretty much just said no and I didn't get another opportunity so it's been pretty lousy. I've got work tomorrow and my boss was kind of rude on the Friday and there might be an issue with my timesheet so I'm not looking forward to it

Strange. Went to T but had an anxiety attack in the middle of session so I left early. Took a Vistaril when I got home and slept through part of the afternoon, missing lunch. Made dinner and now waiting for the husband to do the dishes.
