But that being said, it still is only a drive away and I am thankful to have a car.
Long Island is a cool place.

Well I really can't stand living in the city. I should be happy I suppose that all my needs are within walking distance.

My favorite thing about where I live is that I have no family here.

I live on the edge of town so most of what i see through the windows is nature. I like that i don't have to deal with all the stresses of a large city. my kids can be kids and learn things that are not taught in large cities. For example, they have cousins who don't know where eggs and milk come from.

My environment is a high socio-economic solitary city, with a solitary personality to the citizens in general.
I can say I love its harmlessness which allows personal productivity to thrive... but social connections are lacking, well, it has mostly been this way for me than many others.

My favorite thing about where I live is that my family is not present.

Other things I like: Almost everything I need is within a 5 mile radius of my home.

The silence except for the sound of wild animals, farm animals, and nature.

How easy it is to get around without a car (since I don't have a car).

Where I live:
It hardly ever gets cold so when it does I welcome it.
No income tax.
Short drive to the beach.
Beautiful trees, river, creeks.
Quiet neighborhood.
Our king size waterbed.
House is the perfect size.
All the birds and other types of nature.
I know many of my neighbors.
I live near the best grocery stores.
I can ride my bike to the store or walk to bus--if our vehicle breaks, I can survive.

My H:
Spends time with me everyday (acts like he wants to).
Good conversationalist (he is not shallow).
Jokes around a lot (sometimes funny other times just corny)
He's a flirt and I still look forward to his nookie.
I still think he is cute.
He should have left me a long time ago but is still here.

My children:
I enjoy everything they say.
They are so forgiving, sweet and sensitive.
They like to learn--many of their interests are different than mine so I learn from them.

There are many things I love about other family members too but this is enough for now......

Thanks for this!
