I'm tired of trying to look at the clock four feet from me which I can't quite see the face of since it's turned away from where I'm sitting too much and then looking down at the right corner of my computer where the time is easy to read. Why do I forget and insist on looking at a "clock" and guessing at the time instead of just looking at my computer which I'm looking at/typing on anyway!?%* It's like tripping on a crack in the sidewalk and feeling like an idiot when you look back and see you're just clumsy and shouldn't have tripped :-)

I know the feeling well! Idiot little things

Maybe you could try turning the clock so that you can see it but then when you look at it from the proper perspective it will look so out of place to you that you'll have to turn it around. Performing an action may help you to just look at the clock on your computer. Idiot little things

LOL. Me too!

... and why do I invariably remove the twist tie, then place it on the counter, then lay the bread (or whatever) directly on top of it so that when I go to look for the twist tie, I can't find it anywhere?!?!!

Just wondering about clocks.....how is the younger generation going to know where to put their hands on the stearing wheel when they are told to place then at 10 & 2????

Digital clocks don't have a position for 10 & 2!!!!!! & the fighter pilots are going to have a rough time too......where is that bogie at 9 o'clock????? I don't know where 9 o'clock is so how can I find the bogie????

What does the future hold without our old digital clocks?

Yes, I had an argument with my husband once about analog vs. digital clocks, velcro instead of shoe laces for kids, video games instead of books, etc. His argument was about "progress" and did I want the buggy whip back? I said "Yes!" found and bought him one for Christmas that year :-)

I think the computers will probably find the bogies for us in the future; they already fly the Blackbird and advanced planes like that for us. Nobody really "drives" the space shuttle very often, its computers do most of that work.
