So since there is a place for tattoos, I thought piercings should be next. I personally don't have any. Never wanted any. I've heard people say that they just love them, others don't. Do you like them? Or do you hate them? How many do you have if you have them?

I have three piercings in each ear. No others anywhere else. Never had any interest in having any others. I spend a lot of time working outside on my farm. I'd be afraid of hooking the jewelry on something a ripping it out.

As for piercing on other people, I tend to take the attitude it's their body. They can do what they want with it.

I'm afraid I've only gotten my lobes pierced once. I was 7, and when the lady was holding the piercing gun one of my ears, I kicked her as the piercing happened. I'm pretty afraid of what might happen if I try for a second or third piercing in each ear. Besides, I rarely wear earrings these days, let alone any other jewelry.

Neutral. Don't hate or love it. I'm personally okay with it. However, if you piercing on these extreme degree, I will automatically think you're stupid:

Sorry if I'm too offensive, I try to be honest.

NOTE: I put it inside trigger code since the pictures may be disturbing. Beware if you want to open it.

In my early 20s (I'm 34) I got my navel pierced and my nose pierced. I no longer have either one. The navel I had to take out because of weight gain and the nose because I felt like I needed it out since I was looking for a new job and didn't think it was good to have anymore. So now all I have is just regular ear piercings.

I'm 34. I have my ears gauged to a 00 (American sizing, not sure the metric), and eyebrow piercing that I've had since I was 18 or 19, a septum piercing I've had for about a year, and I just got an industrial about a mon th ago (still healing, final jewelry not in yet). I've had various other piercings that I took out for different reasons... I love my piercings, I want more, but money...

Most don't bother me. The exception are those spacer stretcher things in the earlobe - especially when they are large. What are you going to do when you need to find a job? What are you going to do when you get too old for them?

I like to look at them. I don't have any others but the boring one in the ear lobe. Each to his/her own.

I have the side of my nose and two in each ear. Probably next month I'm going to my bridge done. I think the gauges are OK but only in the earlobes. Honestly anywhere else looks disgusting.

I think that both piercings and tattoos are a good thing no matter how extreme they are because they allow people to express their individuality, which every person should have a right to do and nobody has the right to judge them for it.

With that being said, I want some piercings myself. I can't get pierced yet, unfortunately, because I am heavily reliant on donating plasma at the time to pay for some of my living expenses and they don't allow people who get piercings or tattoos to donate plasma for a full year.

Only on the earlobes. I wanted one in my nose but since it's always stuffed now I think it would be rather gross.

My ears are pierced, one is pierced twice but the 2nd hole has always been very sensitive. I have a nostril piercing, which I got for my 38th birthday (I'm 54). Had a 2nd nostril piercing, but it didn't heal well so I allowed it to close. I also have many tattoos.

I've had about 10 piercings done, but I absolutely hate them. The only one I kept in was my labia piercing because it'd be a B to figure out how to put it back in. And it's kinda naughty.

I have 5 in each ear and one in my nose
My ear at times get tinder . You could try getting a nose perincing it won't hurt much and if you stop wearing it , it won't leave a mark 2 months later

Good luck

Nose piercings never appealed to me. I guess it's the asymmetry.

I just have several piercings in each ear. I have no interest in anything else for myself.

I think it is great for others to do what they want to express themselves, and am all for that. The only caveat I have is that I do get concerned and squimish being a micro lab person when it comes to internal piercing, tongues and privates, only because I see the damage it causes so many due a considerable number of infections and resulting in permanent damage at times.

Although I'd never pierce myself, I'm fine with ear piercings, side-nose piercings and belly-button piercings.

I agree, it's just that when I see someone's teeth and tongue through their cheek it kinda freaks me out. I guess that's my issue though lol.

I forgot to mention I also want to get an industrial: Opinion on piercings

Lol....Turtle_Rider....the first photo takes the phrase "zip it" to a whole new level.

Two ear lobe pear clings for earrings when I was in college back before I was 20..... at 64 however I didn't even wear heavy earrings, the hole on my right ear is large enough now so that small backings can come through.

These people with the way out piercings have no idea how horrible it will look with age....can just see their grand kids in future decades wonder " what in the world were you thinking?". The body is definitely not a perfect canvas & most times it doesn't age gracefully.

I have my ears pierced.

Honestly though....I really hate looking at extreme piercings on other people. And by extreme I mean from at least actual holes where skin is missing in earlobes...and anything worse than that. They just make me slightly nauseated.

And, sure, you could say "well, just don't look".....but I can't walk around with my eyes closed.

I have my ears stretched to 3/4th. Probably staying this size. Have my cartilage pierced, lip, septum and side of nose. I love them. Oh yeah and I have both tragus pierced. I used to have my second and 3rd holes done in my ear but I think they may have closed.

My favorite piercings I have are my tragus piercings. I hope to eventually save up enough to get genuine diamonds in each. here's and example Opinion on piercings

I LOVE piercings. I have my nose, tongue and belly done. I also have many in my ears (tragus, helix, rook, conch). I love them as much as I love tattoos. I think they are beautiful.
Thanks for this!
