yOU kNOW YOUR OLD WHEN.......

When "happy" hour is a nap:d

when the man/woman behind the food counter doesn't blink when you ask for the senior citizen's discount

You buy a hair mascara wand to hide your "natural highlights" growing more frequently

when looking for shoes, comfort is the first priority.

... you remember when you used to have to wash clothes by hand

... you remember the days of no TV

... your bones creak so much that people often mistake you for the tin man from the wizard of oz

... you think the word, " chatroom", is just that- a few people getting together in the living room to talk

your name is featured in, "longest living person in history"

...when you ask for the senior discount, and get told that you can't even have it because you're too old.

You know you are old when:

...you stop searching for the meaning of life to focus on searching for your car keys and everything else for that matter.

...many of your co-workers were born the same year that you got your last promotion.

....your joints are more accurate to predict the weather than the meteorologists.

...your secrets are safe with your friends because they can't remember them either.

.... you sing along with the songs in the elevator.

.... you laugh, tears run down your leg.

hahahahahaaaa, thanks for those, Fresia! Some of them make me crack right up.

You know you are old, when:

-You look in the mirror and think, Wow! I look tired...but it's been 5 years, so I guess this is how I look, now!

-When you have to increase the font size to "Billboard"

-When you see beautiful young people dressed for a swim and think, Gee, I hope they're all wearing enough sunblock...

-When all your favourite songs are on "Flashback Friday" radio shows

-When clothes (especially shoes!) are bought primarily for comfort, rather than looks

-When you come home from the grocery store all excited, because you found the bulk size of psyllium fiber on sale!
