I am so very grateful for the cuddle of my friends newborn baby girl today, it left me feeling calm and happy. My own baby is long since grown up so a long time since I held a tiny baby.

This is going to sound strange, but it's what I'm grateful for today.

I'm grateful for the fact that my mom told my sister that she is depressed yesterday. My sister can't really help her out of that. However my sister can change how she asks for money every other day, herself not having a job for more than a year without looking, her attitude, and her drug and alcohol only appetite.

My sister doesn't realize how much stress my mom is under because of her, and I'm genuinely worried that my mom might do something to relieve herself. I worry about her, and my sister needs to start thinking about someone other than herself. She always uses her stance that mom and dad don't understand depression but she has said that about me too before so I think that she just says that because someone said that to her before. (If she says that about me, you know that it is bull****). She's a bit talker with nothing to back it up.

Anyway, I guess that what I'm trying to say is even though Thanksgiving had a sour point before my dad got home, I think that my sister will be less harsh on my parents. At least that is what I'm hoping for. My sister can have a big heart sometimes but can forget that mom and dad have feelings too. I just want her to give up on some things that are old for her age and I think that mom might have given her something to think about.

Today I went Christmas shopping at Barnes and Noble and Trader Joes. I bought a really cool puzzle and some legos for my cousin. I got a gift card for another family member. The check out clerks at both places were really nice. One was kind of flirty, which made me feel good.
Thanks for this!

That I've got a really good immune system. I came down with a flu for the last three days and it sucked. I'm so grateful that I rarely get sick and don't have to deal with this every other week like other people do.

My computer. It's fast, reliable, and can handle everything I throw at it. (Technologically speaking, not physically!)
