Though it was a warm one I finally got the low mawned...laked some reaves as well!

Overall a fine day really...aside from the apparent dehydration related dyslexia...

Very grateful for my burst of energy and realized sense of responsibility.

My new computer arrived and it's a significant upgrade from what I had before. It's fast enough that I can now allow PsychCentral to show ads--with my last computer, browsers would crash when websites tried to load ads. It's also allowing me to get back to gaming, which I love, but my depression kept me from doing for 5 or 6 years.

I am grateful for FINALLY being allowed to work after four months adjusting to life in America and waiting for the government to get their butts in gear

I blog and on my blog I blog about what I am grateful for every day of my life. I began on March 12, 2013. It has been life-changing for me because it helps me focus on what I do have and not what I don't.

Today, Tuesday, September 26, 2017, I am grateful for being strong enough to fully accept the fact that I have been officially diagnosed with Complex PTSD. Years ago, when I was finding out about the health problems I had that led to being disabled, I would withdraw. Every time I went to the doctor, I would be told about more health problems I had. I stopped going for a long time. My life was very lonely then. I had friends, but I didn't feel real support from anyone.

Now, today, I do. I feel surrounded by real and genuine friends. Happily, we are part of each other's lives. That gives me the strength and self-respect I need to hold my head high and keep moving forward.

Today, September 27, 2017, I am grateful for gaining a better understanding of how monstrous my upbringing was and how it impacted my life. It was impossible for me to have turned out any other way than I did. I was on the fast track to alcoholism and addiction from the very second my parents conceived me.

This is one of the reasons I am so grateful to have been born in the States. I cannot help but wonder that if I had been born elsewhere, could I have survived? How many others are there like me who didn't?

I do have much to be grateful for. I am alive and I work hard to make my life better as best I can, every single day.

Today I'm grateful for breaded eggplant cutlets with sauce for dinner. They were amazing. I'm also grateful for the movie I watched, and talking to my mom about what I should say to my nurse when I call. Oh, and I walked twice, felt good.

I'm grateful for a new book I was able to borrow that I've been wanting to read for so long. It hasn't been available in any libraries or regular bookstores and costs a FORTUNE to buy online. I'm so thankful to have it now, even if for just a weekend.
