I have been awaiting wintertime since mid spring. Hot and sunny are nothing short of dreadful, really. Wintertime, however, is quite noble and pristine, especially with the contrast between the snow, holiday lights, and the night. Besides, the nighttime sky beholds the grandest visibility to the constellations during the coolest months of the year.
Thanks for this!

Where I live even Christmas day, it is usually in the 70s if not hotter. But I cannot wait until the high is in the 80s! We are up in the upper 90s to 100s every day here and I hate it! And the mosquitos are eating me alive... Also I am outside right now on the front porch, and there are water roaches dive bombing my head, so please, let the fall and winter come so the bugs die, at the very least!

Winter is almost over here. Am dreading the hot Australian summer that's coming. Last year we had so many days around 48c (118f) and it hasn't been a cold winter and it's hardly rained so I'm tipping this summer will be even hotter and drier than usual.

It is currently 82f here at 2 am. Today was a mild 98f, if I remember correctly. We had a cold front blow thru late last week, that dropped us to the low 90s for the highs for a few days...

I love winter. I hate summer when its 90 & 90% humidity. Luckily we have only had a couple of weeks like that when you sweat as bad right after the shower as you were before. Working on my farm & not liking to use my AC....I perfer to use fans & open windows, it can get too hot & humid to function.

Fall & spring are nice & its the only time of year I get outdoorbwork really accomplished....but winter is my favorite especially when we get snow every few weeks & it melts off between storms. Love to hike in my woods in the snow & see all the little critter paths wandering around in the snow. It has always been my favorite time of year with that pure white snow making everything loik so fresh & clean.

If I could get the winter with no snow or ice then I wouldn't mind it nearly as much but I LOVE the Fall.

I'm ready especially since we are in Florida ( too bloody hot ) this winter. Just have to be on hurricane watch but won't miss my Tennessee winter. Butttttttttt I won't have the ability to wear all my cute winter clothes and boots hehehehe

Fall is bad for me tho every September I have had to go IP the last few years.

I can relate to this. There is something about the feel of fall in the air (even when I feel that feeling on a cooler summer day) that triggers past feelings that occurred when traumas happened in my life. As time passes in mt totally new location it has helped (10 years) but I still notice twinges of that feel. But I love the warm colors of the changing leaves & the fact that I the grass isn't growing as fast so not having to constantly mow my fields.

Actually experiencing the seasons, not just a feel in the air like in So. Calif is good too. Every season here has its beauty....in the spring the dogwood & redbud trees are so gorgeous too. Like longer lasting falls when the leaves change & stay on the trees for long enough to enjoy them.

Probably the darkness that is often associated with the Fall.

Perhaps that is the reason why the Fall is my favorite season of all and why I thrive during nighttime on any work or studying that I need to do. When it is dark and cloudy or rainy outside, I am at the strongest, smartest, and most mentally focused state that is possible for me without supplements and caffeine.

I guess I am drawn to darkness and void energy after all

MEEE!!

I love the Fall ~ the weather, the colors, (holidays can be tricky for me ~ but it's worth it for me), and then comes winter & a teensy spring. It is SO worth it!

For me, summertime is just really hard. Physically and financially.

Have to say that I am over winter where I live. The wind and the hail is wearing. Ready for the roses to grow and the plants to blossom.

Its actually the chill in the air where its still warm but not hot that is the trigger as it was the same feel in the air that fall when the traumatic events started to happen. I can get that same feel on a cooler summer day when it hits too.

Oh I can relate to functioning better at night. I get most of my work dine at night & always studied through the night & slept during the day. Always backward to everyone else. I still do all nighters working around my house. I will be out mowing my fields by headlight on my lawn tractor intil midnight during the summer. I function better at night unless totally exhausted. I love rainy, snowy days to just sit snuggled up in a blanket reading & watching the weather outside.....can definitely relate to you DarknessIsMyFriend

Meeee! I love Winter. I can't wait. I love it when things are nice and cold. It's easy to warm up if you're cold, but cooling down if you're boiling is horrible. >.<

I like a cool breeze, but not when it is very much freezing. Outdoors, it will be so cold, I think.

I love winter. I lpve the feeling of the snow falling on your face. And being able to view snowcapped mountains. Days of drinking hot cocoa and curling up with a good book. I cant wait for winter

I hate hot weather! Living in Georgia just makes it worse. I love the Fall so much! I love sweatshirts and boots. I love pumpkin cookies and muffins. I love everything about the season. It's my favorite! Who else is ready for fall/winter? Who else is ready for fall/winter?
