Good ol Charlie Brown never did get the kind support he needed. Thanks for resurrecting this great comic strip.

lol

I am afraid this could be a scene from my home. Especially when the children were younger (there father was always working or sleeping and you had better not disturb him). And my mother was like this with me!

I can't see these strips on my phone. I just want to say I discovered Peanuts in elementary school and was fascinated by Charlie Brown because he talked about how his life wasn't going so well. I really needed to relate to that.

I had a crush on Linus and loved that he was attached to a security blanket, because so was I!

Always loved Peanuts as they always hadva moral pointed out.

My fav cartoon character was Donald duck & the way he reacted with frustrstion. My great uncle was the one who created DD working for Disney creating the Sunday Paper comic strips. Never got to know my great uncle uncanny how thete was such a similarity between DD's frustrated reactions & mine.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Charles Schulz was a Sonoma County local and his house with all the collectibles burned down in the Tubb's fire (edit: I think it was the Tubb's). But you know what in every part of Santa Rosa and places in Sonoma County there are many Peanuts statues everywhere that are kept painted and looking nice and it brings joy to the community. There is also a Snoopy's Ice Rink and that is always fun to go to.

I'll try to take some pictures for you guys if I can remember, but yes, lots of places where there are statues of Lucy, Snoopy, and Charlie Brown. They are hand-painted and are repainted often to keep them looking their best. It really is a heartwarming feeling to walk by them.
