One of mine insists on smelling my breath each morning and a couple times I've worried that it might not smell good and wondered when I last brushed my teeth! LOL

Your cat is showing its love for you by grooming you. I had one that liked to give me butterfly "kisses" on my face to get me up in the morning. Unfortuatnely, she only seemed to want me to feed her.

LOL.
Perna, my cat likes to smell my breath in the morning too. I've wondered if he even HAS a sense of smell to get THAT close to my morning breath! But he loves loves loves mint. So if I have mint gum in my mouth, I get a lick on the chin. I love that. If the gum is in my purse, I will look over and see a purse with a tail! ![]() Someone I know has a cat who loves lavender. When she has some cut lavender in a bag, her cat disappears into the bag, no matter where she hides the bag! Lavender is part of the mint family, so it must be the mint, whether it's lavender, gum, or toothpaste! |
