Oh, and that cat is from the Ghibli studios movie "My Neighbor Totororo".

No it certainly wasn't! And now I have no idea how to figure out how it did that and how to make it do it again. It was one of those "Speech to text" programs but I had no idea what I did to make it start...although it did tell me how to end it. Control Alt Z!

Yes we are!

Cat #2 is disturbed by the presence of the hula hoop. She mewed a complaint about the foreign object at the bottom of the stairs and hot footed her way around it. I’ll report back if anything changes.

25 views of these beautiful fur babies. Do Izzy and Oregano hide when it’s time to go to the vet? I don’t know how cats seem to know.

I seem to have hit the jackpot with cats. They're very cooperative. They're none too happy about it, but they don't put up a fight. They sing a mournful song on the drive to and from the vet, though.

Tis the Song of the Sorrows, reserved only for that dreaded trip to places scary and/or unknown. Mostly sung in the cat carriers.

Went back to bed this morning. Got up in the afternoon, ordered a pizza for breakfast, and skipped the gym. What's that you say? A giant, calorie-loaded mocha would tie this whole debaucherous day together in a nice neat bow? Well...okay, but this was your idea, not mine.

Every one of these drinks should come with a free dose of insulin.

In all seriousness, this was taken by a guy who took complete advantage of the Starbucks gold member "Buy 12 get the 13th drink free" coupon he had to get one monstrously large, record breaking Mochaccino (with some cooperation from the baristas at the store, of course). He wound up getting a whopping 55 shots in the vase...erm the 128-ounce glass he supplied. Turns out it took him 5 whole days to finish this colossal coffee drink, which is a good thing considering the amount of caffeine in it.

Thank you!

What about putting some nice kitty treat inside the hoop? But then you'd ruin the control test, and not know how long before it would just saunter throught the hoop regardless...

We need more cats with hula hoops.

Actually, I'd also like it if someone took a hula hoop to work and left it somewhere that could be stepped around with only moderate inconvenience. Human reactions would be interesting. You could do variants like change the color every half hour when no one is looking, and placing a candy bar inside to make it look like some kind of lure or trick. Video results required, of course. (Sorry, I don't have a workplace like that.)

Wait, that photo wasn't staged?? I seriously thought it wasn't real, or made just for the sake of taking the picture. Whoa.

I woke up to the first snow cover here today. It kept snowing for some time. It's pretty at least. I prefer white snow to the greys and browns of dead grass, leafless trees, and mud.

I took a couple of pictures, but the PC site is continuing to misbehave even more a little every passing day for me, and now won't let me upload pictures.

I saw a few pictures on Desiree's page that was a much warmer climate, somewhere in India. Looks really nice, right about now. Although I saw she's feeling lonely and depressed lately. I hope you feel better soon Desiree, although I know that's pretty hard when there's never that special someone.

You go to the gym? And you've left me to bore everyone with my exercise goings on?

(And if you say it hasn't been too much, you haven't seen my check-ins in the exercise thread starry made elsewhere )

@Ceph, PC has just moved to a new server, so it's understandable if there are lots of errors and some features are not working properly. It may take weeks to fix the errors (based on my experience with software house). Just wait for them.
