I know a job or volunteering would make me feel some joy. I recently saw an elderly church friend and that 2 hour visit gave me a lift. It was also saddening to see the people in the nursing home where I worked many years ago. I don't think I know yet what really brings me joy in this world, except that I occasionally can make a person smile by doing something for them. Feeling appreciated for the little things would bring me joy. I'm now too sore for a job, but I can still get out and I'll think of another visit to one of my elderly Aunts tomorrow or later as our weather is turning bad again.

Going to some roadhouse dive bar and DANCE! Not drinking, I've never liked to drink. Just put some great music on the jukebox and dance.

Swimming is something that's been on the back burner for a long time. Plunging into the surf on an awesome summers day.

I hear you all.

I live a five minute walk from a library branch yet can't pick myself up and wander down to grab a book. And then, if I were to have a book it sits there unread while I sit bored with 'nothing' to do.

That sounds awesome to me too! Worrying about how I look in a swim suit has prevented me from going all the way in for years. Let's get this off the backburner this summer!

I used to read avidly and loved it. I can’t seem to get into it lately.

I used to meditate more. I enjoy it / it makes me feel better and more clear. I don't usually feel like it, but I'm trying to get back into it.

Lately I've been struggling to get into my massive pile of video games. Part of it is depression, but currently I think most of it is because I so badly want to play Monster Hunter World (need it to release for PC, but it's so far away) or the games I want to play with friends that nothing else compares.

I used to love running and swimming I have stopped both now because I have no energy or motivation.

Anything that involves taking time for ME...my artwork, getting an exercise regimen going,
re-organizing rooms, sewing, doing hobbies, you name it.

Partly this is due to a lack of energy, many days. But I also don't feel justified in doing what I used to love, anymore.

It's wrong, and I know it. So I do fight against it when it happens.

Re-re-relearn how to play the guitar and keyboard. I like making music but even now it seems beyond my comprehension. My fingers are also too short and fat for anything like that.
