I live in Ontario, Canada, it is a very white March here and there is snow every single March without exception.
![]() I imagine snow in March may be odd in other places though! |

I'm in Alberta Canada and we are about to get another big dump. It's not abnormal for us to get snow until May!

It's snowing a great deal in the Sierra Nevada Mountains (California) today. Down in the valley, we're getting jack-hammered with desperately-needed rain! Grateful, grateful....

Here it’s always snowing in March, and in April it’s probably still snowing but it almost never snows at Christmas

You got that right! I was sitting out in the sunshine yesterday morning, & now the snow's barreling down. They say 6" by tonight. There's a saying in Michigan, "If you don't like the weather, stick around for 15 minutes." Lake Michigan can drop surprises on you into April.

around here there can be snow on the ground from october to early may, though most is melted by then! mother nature keeps throwing curve-balls every single frickin' year!!! a couple years ago, the farmers around here couldn't even finish harvesting before the first snow came, and that storm dropped like fifteen inches!
and it's funny to read that previous comment -> cuz my cousin lives in minn and i've heard it said that "in Minnesota if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes!" ![]() p.s. there's a new big snowstorm on the west US/Canada coast and about to make its way eastward...... |

It snowed a ton last night and its still coming down. They are saying not to drive if you don't have to and most places are closed. The large bush outside my window is bent in a weird angle by the wet snow.

South Saskatchewan here. A blizzard rolled in yesterday and we've so much snow the dog can't plow through it. I have thought about enjoying a trek with my snow shoes. Boyfriend isn't even going to try to get to work this morning as his car and the side roads are snowed in. Perhaps later this afternoon once the trucks and heavier 4X4s have had a chance to beat down and flatten out the snow on the streets. More is yet to come today and tomorrow. Snowmagedon.
