things that shock you

I'm shocked people still vote.

I was going to say "static" but close enough...

I've been shocked with 120 and 240 VAC. Was stomping my foot and shaking my hand at the same time. Man that smarts!

-Humanity's ability to communicate/share similar ideas/fashion complex tools/critically think.

-The fanfare for almost any reality show.

I'm shocked that the human race hasn't wiped itself out yet or hunted everything to extinction.

How much gas my 2 yr old can produce.

My neighbor's reaction to his daughter's defiance and rebellion.

Let's just say that when push came to shove, he shoved.

Then again, when your child is kicking and hitting you, what else can be done?

I am shocked when I see parents give in to their children.

I don’t change my own tires for the same reasons I don’t sew my own clothes or don’t raise my own vegetables. I suspect there are ton of things you pay for other than doing yourself

I commute two hours a day and my whole life I had flat tire twice. Both times it was changed by road assistance in 15 minutes. Changing tire on the busy freeway in a rush hour in a pouring rain isn’t something I am trained to do or have to have a responsibility for. My road assistance costs me $50 a year, includes ton of service. It’s virtually nothing.

I do that, sometimes.

I can be terribly vicious when I’m in a particular state determined by just how god-like I’m feeling in my continuous manic episode. It gets me into some terrible tangles. Vicious = ‘mean and rude.’

But... I’m manic at the moment yet so very physically vulnerable so I’m more of a demi-god now.

I keep fainting when I sit up. Not in the mood for mean and rude right now.
