Hear! Hear! I am exactly the same way. It doesn't weird me out, but it is a MAJOR peeve. After all, they are PAID to do it right! It's not.that.hard. Also, it is not just one person. Someone wrote it, then there's an editor FFS! NO ONE notices? No ALLEGED professional? Really??!! (Did I mention major peeve? And don't even get me started on the official degradation of the word "literally". Thanks for obliterating an essential word for which there is no substitute! WTF?!!!!)

(I also get exasperated with business enterprises and sign makers --again, likely through more than one person and no one knows better?! Wish I could remember the one I saw the other day. It was a whopper.)

Forum writing is stylistically different and I have no problem with that.

Ok, now that THAT'S out of my system, lol!

(Thought of something that weirds me out, but forgot it. If it comes back, I promise to go back on topic. )

I love rich vocabularies! Loquacious is a word that isn't used often enough. Sooooo many wonderful words to choose from that are rarely spoken/ written these days. It's quite sad, really.

the fact that this new cartoon I am watching, " baby ricky", despite the theme tune constantly going " baby ricky time, baby ricky time,", does not actually have 1 character in the show called ricky, not one.

it's like whaaaaa?

then the advert's miss leading " join baby ricky on all his adventures", and you think... the ****ing show doesn't even have anyone called ricky in it. get a grip

baby ricky is the name of the nursery, and all the characters are girls

so misleading

Yesterday we were guests at a large bbq dinner. I could not eat my food however for fear of ingesting insects. The small flies and aphids were whirling about by the zillions. I sat in the smoke of the bonfire in an attempt to keep them away. What disgusted me though was that these flies descended upon and got stuck in the salads and other foods. It quite weirded me out to see people eat forkful after forkful of food covered in insects. I just couldn't do it. Surely they all noticed this before shovelling in the food. Yuck.

and then go on to make food.

I used to know someone like this, her name was kelly.

she would go to the bathroom, not wash her hands, and then make burgers for her family

it's no surprise that her and her family constantly complained of not feeling well

one time she even gave me one of her burgers when I was round hers fir dinner.

yuck

dirty houses.

them other had 4 children and a dog, and the house was covered with toys, dog pooh, scattered clothing, the sofa was covered in crumbs, it was filthy

then the mother would let her kids play outside in the garden in the paddling pool, where the dog had poohed in it.

(the dog was big, and hairy, and feerce)

on top of that, she never fixed her drains, so the driveway stank, and when it came to meal times and the kids didn't want the food, she just let them drop it on the floor without picking it up.

it was the most disgusting place I have seen, with the most disgusting people

on the subject of disgusting people, people that smell so bad that even when you're outside on a cold day with the wind blowing around, you can smell them.

sheesh

Spending $750 on a single grocery transaction. I see this more often than one would think. It boggles my mind.

Loquacious is my favorite word! It's even in my bio on here.

I get irked when people confuse ambivalent with indifferent. No idea why but I think my eye twitches.

"your eye twitches?' LOL incorrect grammar irks me as does people who are mean to animals. (More than irks me...enrages me!)

Holy cannoli! Most I ever spent was a little over $100. ONE time(!)

But back to what weirds me out-- flips flops. I can't believe anyone can stand to wear them (omg, the flapping sound with.every.step(!))

when you're eating a packet of sweets, you get to the bottom of the bag and it's all sticky

not only does it feel horrible, but who's ever heard of sticky gummy bears or sticky jelly worms

A lady I know told me one one time that she was walking around the mall and her bladder fell out. That’s pretty weird. Can that actually happen? I’m not saying she’s lying but maybe I didn’t hear her correctly.

Today a coworker asked me if I’m looking forward to the holidays. I didn’t find her question weird at first, but now I’m wondering why she’s asking me that at the beginning of September.
