I work retail myself so I understand things like sales quotas and commissions, but I do not tolerate pushy sales people. When I say I'd like to browse, respect that. It irks me when the same sales associate asks if they can help me four times in five minutes. By that fourth time I inform them I am taking my business elsewhere on account of being pestered. You just earned yourself a lost sale.

Someone flipping tv channels all the time, without stopping to see if a show, or movie will be good, or not.

The past few days, what irks me are friends of mine who are political hypocrites.

Put your cellphones away. Please, have a consideration for the time, place, and people around you before you sit there with your nose in your phone rudely ignoring all that is around you. At a restaurant? Put it away and enjoy the company of the other guests. At a doctor's office? Turn it on mute. At your job? You shouldn't have it on the floor with you in the first place. And, first day job orientation? Definitely not the time to be texting and Facebooking.
[I was at a new job orientation class today and I swear everyone under the age of 30 sat there glued to their cellphones. What a way to make a good impression.] |

A therapeutic addiction... I do agree about being tied at the hip to cellphones, especially when I see a group of folks who appear to be text chatting to each other via their mobiles, whilst sat facing each other at the same table... That said, I'm guilty of carrying a phone around 24/7 just to allow instant google satisfaction. It's only a meager data plan that saves me from myself. |

How quickly this persons issues come and go. She can be diagnosed with a rare heart issue and then the next day post that she’s run 5 miles. At least be consistent with your posting if your going to downright lie about what you clearly don’t have.

Just two minutes ago she was admitted to the hospital again. Why not go to the exact same hospital you were at just 2 days ago?
I have a lot of symptoms of ovarian cancer but I’m not rushing to the hospital or even to the doctor. I’m trying to figure out if my stress or anxiety is causing physical symptoms. I’m going to work tomorrow.

In a large classroom or training situation there is always 'that' person who won't stop asking trivial questions. I know they say, "No question is stupid." But, really? Use your common sense dude.

I have started work at a large members only wholesaler. Most people have their membership cards already out to present as they walk through the entrance. There are those however who wait until they arrive at the door to look for and dig them out, thereby holding up a growing line and irking those behind them. Why, just why? You know you need to show it. Why wouldn't you arrive prepared?

I get perturbed with drivers who drive well under the posted speed limit. They present more of a danger to other drivers than the speedsters. If driving the quick route around the city terrifies them, they shouldn't be on it.

People that are complaining about the straws being envriomental friendly. It not the disabeled complaining it's people that never use the straws. Some people have nothing better to do other then bicker about something

The matter regarding how the outlawing of plastic staws affects the disabled is a moot point. Many places are already using washable stainless steel. |

People who play dumb for laughs, especially certain blonde celebrities who come off like they really ARE that stupid. It's usually female celebrities doing this, and it kind of gives off the impression that women in general aren't very smart. Even though I'm neither dumb nor blonde, I have a hard enough time getting my thoughts, opinions, and suggestions taken seriously without these hollow-headed twits on TV acting like they wouldn't know a dog from a door knob.

People not paying attention where they're going when walking because of their head down looking into the phone.
A recruiter who tells you right to your face during the interview that you're a good candidate for the job, then you don't get hired. Sometimes when you walk into a store and there's several sales associates just standing there watching you like they're going to attack you and keep bothering you about if you need help. If I need help I will ask thank you, just stop coming over to me a zillion times asking if I still am doing ok. I know one particular one but I won't say it here. Hearing the same celebrity news day in and day out what they wore, who they're dating, who did this or that, I could care less what you had for lunch. People who use the word "like" in every other sentence. When a one day holiday becomes a whole weekend thing. People that have to "like" everything on Facebook or constantly post pictures of themselves, and I hate the word "selfie" it needs to die already! Too many more to name right now. |

“Jumbo-Giant” 300-count straws from amazon.com. Plastic. A ban on plastic straws would be a disaster for us. I no longer buy bottled water but my caregiver makes certain that I have clean filtered water for my Thermos.

Songs that use the word "love" when what they're really talking about is sex. There is a tremendous difference between the two.

This new city I live in hasn't done any traffic planning. The street lights at intersections haven't been strategically timed. The lights - amber in particular - are far too short and you keep going through red lights as a result. They have no bylaw governing when trains can go through the city and thus they often clog it up during rush hour - including stopping entirely on the main freeway artery (yep, train tracks across a freeway). I don't get this. Where I moved from had all this sorted out. Trains were not allowed through the City during rush hour and lights at intersections have been well timed to move traffic smoothly accordingly.

when you're put in a queue for something, and then someone else also gets put in the same queue, yet somehow that person is more important than you are and you have to wait
it doesn't seem fair |
