That used to happen to me a lot with shows I had recorded on the DVR. Then I figured out that I had to record the program after that so I could see the ending.

I was watching Rupaul season 7 the other day and the contestants were doing John Waters parody’s. Now for two days all I’ve had stuck in my head is “don’t play with doo-doo, don’t play with poo.” I guess it’s better then the Pink one I had stuck in my head. Maybe not.

It irks me no end that they do not put sand, salt down at the mental health clinic parking lot. It's a law suit to waiting to happen

When people assume that everyone wants/has kids. All I see in commercials, ads, and even in people's conversations is "your kids" this and "families" that.

News flash, not everybody wants children. I personally find them annoying and a waste of time. I would rather be spending my life having fun and doing things I want to do than sacrifice what time I have in this world taking care of an annoying rugrat.

So when it comes to getting a haircut and I show the stylist a picture I have no expectation I will look like it - I'm not a model afterall. But I at least expect the length to be the same. In the picture the hair on the model is clearly three or more inches longer. Mine was just clipped to an inch at its longest. Grrrrrrrrrr.

My Aunt kind of irks me. It’s not my fault they schedule me during my moms yoga time. I just feel like she expects a lot out of me.

I was at Dicks Sporting Goods, today and we were trying to find someone to get some help. We saw some guy folding Nike shirts at a table. We assumed he worked there. We asked him where the clearance section was. His response was “I don’t work here. I just work for the brand.” He was pretty rude. We just walked away. Some people wouldn’t do that though. Some people would be even nastier and say “yeah, I know you work for the brand but you still are working in the store so you should know where stuff is.” Or something like that. Everyone at the store was pretty rude. It’s not even the holidays and the store was empty.

I can agree with this (I don't want kids)

excluding the fact that I can't look after myself sometimes (so it would be unfair to the kids), the only thing cute about them is when they are born- for me, it's one of the joys in life, holding a newborn, they are so cute and frajile

but running around after a screaming kid is certainly not apealing to me

Disagree. Some of these reps merchandise their product at a dozen or more locations per day and dozens more per week. Can you really expect them to know each and everyone of these stores? It isn't their job. The fault lies not with them but the store and sales associate.
Thanks for this!

I think some of these people are pretty rude. As if they have to be to make you go away and not ask them any questions like -- where can I find someone who works here.

Last week a similar thing happened to me I went up to someone who was doing inventory for an outside contractor and he was as rude as could be. Honestly why are they doing inventory during the weekend day? Why do they not have uniforms that would give me a hint he isn't part of the normal staff?

I agree. I used to do store audits to make some money after I quit a job. I would go to supermarkets and take pictures of how the products were displayed and note if there were problems with the packaging.

I had to go all over the city, so I was generally at stores I had never benen in before. The work I was doing was focused only on one section, so I didn't know the layout of the rest of the departments. I had an ID saying I was an external auditor, but still people wouold constantly ask me where they could find products. I was polite when I told them I was not a supermarket employee and wasn't sure where the product was, but some people got annoyed at my response.
Thanks for this!

Oh, I've harped on it before, but I think it's irking when people say "96 years young" because they think there's something wrong with being old, so they're trying not to say the word.
Thanks for this!

It is not rude to point out it isn't your job and that the information is not known to you. Again, the fault lays either with the store for not being staffed sufficiently or the sales clerks for not making themselves available.

I have to deal with rude customers all the time complaining because the outside merchandisers and product demonstrators are not familiar with what is in the store and where. It is not like they can leave their post either to show you. This ought to be common sense. I see when I am on the floor all the time outside vendors getting crapped upon because they couldn't answer a question. When I have stepped in to be of assistance the ranting and raving turns to me. Try to be a little more enlightened and consider it from the other person's shoes. Not getting the answer you desired is not rudeness.

I was just saying that some customers might not have been as nice about it as we were. I know based on my own experience in retail that customers can be brutal if they don’t understand how the store works. I was actually trying to sympathize with the merchandiser. We walked away after he told us he didn’t work there and found someone else to answer our question. However, he could have been more polite to us.

The final episode of season 8 of the show I’m watching is actually the final episode of season 7. It said season 8 on the DVR though. So I did have all of season 7, but that final episode only recorded halfway for some reason. So now I’m missing the last episode of season 8 too. **** it. I just googled the winner of season 8.

Never try to record 9, 14 episode, hour long, seasons of a TV show at one time. It will seriously **** up the DVR.

My coworker I was working with today. The last two hours of our shift she was on her phone. Everytime the manager would walk out, which was quite a bit, she would take out her phone and start texting. She would stay on her phone until a manager came back. Then when he would come back she’d quickly hide her phone and act like she was working. A manager would sometimes be gone for 15 minutes and she would be texting the whole time. We were getting really backed up, and she didn’t seem to care. At one point she was so distracted, and a manager was halfway in the back, and I was really hoping the manager would catch her, but my coworker saw her just in time.

So, we didn’t get everything done. Which was not my fault at all. All my other coworkers could see her texting too. So I hope someone complains. Not to mention this particular coworker smells awful. I was just irked most of the day because of her. Also, yes, I knew what she was texting about and it was just stupid drama stuff, and nothing important.

The notion that to be "cool" you have to speak with the right slang, dress in the right clothes, and listen to the right music. Fail at any of that, and you're not socially acceptable.
