being told that you did something, and having someone quite convinced you did it, when actually you didn't, and actually have no idea how to do it in the first place

people that say things to others to make you sound better than you actually are.

I remember my mother for example was so embarrassed I was mentally ill, she used to tell people I was a lawyer

pissed me off, because A, i'm clearly not, and B it does make for some awkward situations later on

when people ask the same question again, and again, and again

and you give them the answer and they ask.. are you sure?

are you sure?

and 2 minits later.. are you sure?

the obvious acception is people that can't help it- like with a learning problem or with dimentia

no.. I'm talking about perfectly able people asking again and again, just to be annoying

multiple spellings of names

I know an amelia, and I know an emilia

surely if it's spelt with an E it should just be emily or something

or people that call you hon, or babe, and they don't really know you

I suppose the problem here is that I always thought those terms were associated with partners and marage- not every day life.

I don't know. maybe it's just me but I find someone totally unfamiliar calling me hon a bit wierd

I really don't like being called "sweetie" when someone is explaining something to me. It makes me think that they think I am dumb or naive or incapable.

People calling me girl.
When my cat cutely licks me but can't refrain from biting. OW.
Coats and jackets.
Everyone having the default ringtone so no one knows who's phone it is.
Rabbits, most of them. Had an adorable one and my current one isn't that bad but they are pooping machines.
Pencils. Unless for art.
Vacuum cleaning. Ack, the sound makes me depressed.
Sleeping in a bed. I do now after sleeping for years on a mattress. I managed to fall out once. OW again.
Guitar strings that break. I always think they will slice me.

I use to work in ER, and when people came in with a Trach, that is a hole in the neck with a plastic tube in it, and have to cough, they would cough out all the sputum in there lungs, and it would spray every where. They couldn't help it. It would make me gag, and sometimes make me throw up. I never could handle that, also when we couldn't save someone, trying to give some comfort to the relatives, I would always cry with them. I didn't like to show that weak side when I was working. A lot of times, on my long drive home, if I was able to hold back my tears, I would let loose on my way home.

It’s so... weird to me! A barrier! Itchy, icky!

Speaking of... I just don’t care for makeup. It tastes bad. My first college girlfriend wore makeup. Eww!

I bought some syrup once with the word ‘butter’ all over the label... but in small print — “contains no butter.”

Real maple syrup is so expensive!
