how do you view sundays....?

I find them slow, and depressing.

because everyone is resting and everything is either going so slow or so quiet

A rest day basically. Friday and Saturday are my favorites.
Thanks for this!

Because of my husband's work schedule, Sundays are usually our clean around the house, grocery shopping and occasionally seeing family day. I like the weekend because I get a tiny bit of tiny with my husband. Just wish there was more hours in the weekend, since I miss him.

I view it as a rest day because by me many businesses are legally required to be closed on Sundays. Grocery stores and gas stations are open but it's a not a day where I can shop for clothes or fun stuff so I generally just hang out. If it weren't for these local laws likely I wouldn't view Sunday any differently from Saturday.
Thanks for this!

Sundays are usually a day to lay in bed, have sex, and coffee, then go to the gym for Barre and yoga. Everything there is optional but when they all come together... XD

Depends on my mood. When I’m more stable or “up”, we go to church. Most other times I dread it because it is grocery shopping day and the day I wash and change the bedsheets, 2 chores I really hate.

When I was a child, Sundays felt so depressing to me. As an adult, I'm fond of Sundays. I feel like I have more choices on Sundays. I can rest, I can work (at home online), I can do chores - or a mix. I love that no one is likely to call me and bother me on a Sunday. There's a great song - Johnny Cash, "Sunday Morning Coming Down":

"...On a Sunday morning sidewalk,
I'm wishing, Lord, that I was stoned.
'Cause there's something in a Sunday
That makes a body feel alone.
And there's nothing short a' dying
That's half as lonesome as the sound
Of the sleeping city sidewalk
And Sunday morning coming down."

I can work any night of the week and am no longer religious so every day is exactly the same to me.

I have Sundays off. I do laundry. I usually work on Mondays but my job is not stressful so I don’t fret on Sundays.

I guess Sundays are just like any other day off.

We just relax and watch movies on Sundays. I clean up throughout the week. School will start soon so we will need to be in bed earlier.

Wow. Most ‘blue laws’ have gone the way of the horse and buggy! While store owners can elect to close or open with reduced hours, they’re usually not required by law, these days, to operate differently on Sunday than any other days.

But.

Blue laws are legal, says SCOTUS, so ‘fun stuff’ can be banned!

Other than having my partner home to share it with me I don't treat it as different than any other day. This probably stems from having worked retail for so many years when often it was a regular workday an 'weekends' could fall during the week. It's just another day.

Having to work many a Sunday, a lot of times it's TGIS, because I usually have Mondays off then.

I feel guilty because I'm a Christian and Sundays are supposed to be a good, holy day, but all I can do is think about how the next day is Monday. Bleh.
