This is a FUN thread to share amusing bad choices. The choices that make you giggle at yourself.

This morning for breakfast I had coffee and Cadbury mini eggs. Terrible choice and yet so yummy!

I came in from outside at 1pm after taking care of my doggies all morning & getting their x-pen set up under the tree. I was dripping wet from the heat & humidity....& HUNGRY. I looked in my refrig for food & thought NOTHING HOT to eat so I opened my freezer & pulled out my ice cream along with a huge bowl from the cupboard & had fudge topped mint moose tracks ice cream for lunch.

Now that I am cooled down I may eat something else but it was the ONLY thing I was willing to eat at the time.

deciding not to eat my food at the hospital (throw it across the ward in sted)

starving later and they wouldn't give me anything despite asking

well can't say I'm surprised, right?

buying a cassette tape at a car boot sale, only to discover once I got it home the tape was chewed up and it wouldn't play

Picking my nose in traffic, right in front of someone I have always had a crush on. The worst part, I showed her what I found before realizing it was her.
Cussing at myself when I thought I was by myself, right in front of small children. I forgot to look down. Oops.

I deleted a bunch of TV shows off the DVR. It turned out that the DVR was acting wonky and I actually had plenty of room for everything. I should have waited. 😂

Giving in to the lure of my phone to come here and see what's new. I know I need self discipline if I truly want to gain some traction in my life, yet I do the same things every day. I guess I prefer the comfort of my rut to the dream version of my life.

That's pretty amusing if you think about it, right?

ripping every last shred of my schoolwork

the only chance I had to get a certificate (something to do with foods from around the world), ruined

though to be fair I was manic at the time

still wasn't a good choice later when I told them I didn't know where the work was

throwing water over my friend's electronic stuff

they didn't want to see me again after that

I think Windows 10 is a downgrade. I choose Debian instead

I'm more just stumbling about in reality, both physically and mentally. Sometimes I knew that the second after I do this, things might go bad but it's like I'm like whatevz, I never understood why I'm not stopping. I wish I could understand why, on some kind of neurological level that could make some sort of pattern of behavior. Other times, I am plain clueless, those are the most times. Where I don't make choices knowing things might get bad, it's like sometimes cause and effect aren't really connected or I lack info about the situation.

When I go on walks my favorite thing seems to be getting lost. I have even gotten lost inside a small mall. And inside a tiny store. OK, the store I still could exit quite quickly but I walked in many dead ends first just staring at shelves not knowing at all where I was. It is hard not to look stupid in situations like those.

Strangest thing is getting lost in the woods at night freezing temps without a cell phone scores about the same on the stupidity scale for me as getting lost in a small store. It's like I'm just watching myself with some kind of mild amusement. Even if one of those situations could have gotten me killed.

My really bad choices are things I need to do and never come around doing.

okay, when you have to go, you have to go.

but I put it out of order and I do feel bad (or I did feel bad, I laugh about it now)

I've done a lot worse in a phone box before, and a lot more fun

Everyday conversations.

Normal kid : Do you have a phone brotha?
Me : No, sir, I don't have. I am sorry.

I am a bit too awkward I guess. I don't remember the conversations I have at college but the other person always laughs... I am a bit opposite of what a doctor is supposed to be.

Getting up to go downstairs at 3am to get something to eat. Bith times turned out bad.....but funny.

First time I made the food. Put it on my plate & headed back for upstairs. As I came around the corner of my kitchen into the entry hall I tripped over the storage box I had left there weeks before (not like I didn't know it was there)

I managed to fall still holding onto my plate if food right onto the NEW soft entryway runner I had just purchased. Not a drop of food came off the plate. I acrually layed there laughing so hard after surveying the situation & knowing I didn't get hurt. Lol.....lots of bad choices involved in that from not putting away the storage box to going afted food at 3am.

Several years later.....another 3am food run to the kitchen. I had parked my truck right in front of my front deck 3 days earlier. I had left my front door open but had my all glass storm door locked. I had taken my purse & with my keys & truck door popper up to my room the last time I drove my truck.

Going down stairs I didn't notice anything unusual but after getting my good & heading back for the stairs I noticed my truck headlights were on. I thought how strange. They usually go off automatically after a few minutes if the truck door had been opened but they didn't go off. I wasn't about to go out & investigate if someone was actually there & there was no moon that night & my porch lights didn't show anything.....but the headlights continued to stay on. I finally decided to call our sheriff & he came out. He saw the headlights as he was driving down the hill to my farm then he said they went off by the time he drove back up hill & could see the truck again. We went all around the truck & derermined that no one had touched it as the night dew would have showed up foot prints or prints on my truck but there was nothing.

I initially thought maybe an electrical short. But later on I was experimenting with my door popper & found that when the emergency button is hit the headlights go on for an extended period of time.
..
So I realized that one of my dogs that were on my bed when I went downstairs had stepped on or layed on the emergency button on my door popper I had left laying with my purse on my bed next to where I sleep. Lots of choices go into making these situations turn into the wierd ones they become.
