My window decoration!

Every year at my meeting place we put on an alcathon for Thanksgiving. We rent out the room next door and fill it with food. We block off the parking lot and set up a jumping castle, and we have marathon meetings in the meeting room. On the Wednesday before, some of us meet up at 3pm and decorate. I ended up doing the main window right next to the door and everyone loved it so I thought I'd share. Its a blurry pic taken on my cell phone. Hopefully I'll get a better picture from my sponsor later.

I wish I could say I made them. We have a collection of decorations that we save and they were in the box. They're made just like scarecrows but they were so hard to position. It took a lot of tape lol. It looks so much cuter in person where you can read the little signs they're holding. I kept calling it the fellowship window haha!! My sponsor took a pic with me in front of it so hopefully she'll email it to me and then I'll post it.

I was never crafty until the last couple of years, so its so fun when I create something and actually like it!!!! So I just had to share my joy at doing a window. I kept joking that I should do displays at the mall hahahah!!!!

Ours started this morning at 6:45 and will go until 8pm tonight. I always go there first, then to family, then back. Its such a wonderful thing!!! And decorating was just so much fun yesterday. I didn't make all the people. We have a collection of decorations and they were in the box. My sponsor coordinates all the decorating and she asked if I wanted to do the window so I ran with it.

Well, I didn't know I was gifted lol. I went to my meeting yesterday and found out that its been decided to keep my window up until after Christmas!!!! Usually the decorations for Thanksgiving come down right away. So that made me feel all wam and fuzzy.

Thank you!! I'm so excited to decorate my place for Christmas now. I wish I had a big window in the front of my apartment to do something with now hahaha!!!!
