what current crazes do you not follow?

what do you know that everyone likes at the moment- and you just can't be bothered with it?

I have no interest in:

social media

pokemon go

the whole thing with the baby shark song (despite admitting to like the song itself)

I facebook but have maybe 50 friends - no one I am not acquainted with in real life. I do not twitter, instagram, or facetime, etc. I stay in touch via email or the old fashioned way - a good old phonecall. I send real mail and greeting cards. Do not send me a cutesy-pie block email wishing me a merry Christmas. No texting for me. I don't tolerate people using their phones in my presence - it is offensive to me. Either give me your attention or don't bother at all.

I also don't binge watch television programs as I have better things to do. I go to real cafes and restaurants and avoid fast food or anything with a drive-thru. You would never find me on an ocean liner or wasting valuable time on a beach. I prefer instead to holiday taking in arts, culture, and history. Sorry Mexico but I will spend my money in Europe instead.

Yeah, pretty hard core, but I still have no shortage of friends.

I do not follow allot of the new tv shows unless it's history or reality shows.

I do not watch or go to any sports or follow any games like hockey, foot ball
I do not follow new music. I like my oldies
I do not follow allot of Celeberty news.
I do not follow popular online games
I do not use my cell phone for internet use

I try to eat in restruants avoid fast food
I do not have a ipad or am i about too
I like to still open a book, magazine, news paper

I don't have a moble phone, *gasp* not even an old flip phone

I don't have FB or Twitter

I don't know the latest fad

I don't follow any sport

I do read, old fashioned books from the library and drink smoothies, not sure if that's in anymore.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't do the social media thing- a lot of people think I'm strange for that and tell me to " get with the times", but what works for you works..

my mobile phone is so old that henry the 8th himself probably made calls on it

I read, especially politics, watch movies, do some social media (mainly FB and LI), cook and ride my motorbike. I love historic old buildings and churches, most types of music and cuisine, and my ideal holiday would be lying on a beach and swimming in the sea, which despite living next to, I haven't done for years!

I am oblivious to crazes. I don't know which I'm following and which I'm not. I just do whatever excites me, makes me feel passionate or causes me to smile.

My kids try to keep me on the loop. They have informed me "the dab" has been replaced by "the floss". Dance moves in case you wonder. I can still mashed potatoe and do the twist if that counts.

I do have a Facebook acc, but I don't check it but maybe once a week, and I do have a cell, but only turn it on when I leave home. Other than that I don't follow anything. One they normally don't interest me, and two I don't have time.

I love that you guys do your own thing and don’t care to follow the crowd. It’s so refreshing. I don’t watch TV, sports... we just stream documentaries and an occasional movie. I prefer to read, go for a walk. No Instagram and no selfies. I do follow some book groups on social media to see what book I want to read next.

I haven't had a TV for over 11 years & don't even know what TV shows are popular. No money to waste on streaming it either.

I do everything on my smart phone since my old computer died & even though it was pieced back together I only use it for word processing.

I do FB because it keeps me in touch with community activities & keeps me in touch with people I want to stay up to date on what's happening in their lives.

I don't Twitter though I did for one project I was doing. Too much effort.

Honestly too busy on my farm & in my community to waste time on current crazes. I get involved with what I am interested in.....& I have always been crazy about horses.

I'm so out of it I don't even know what the current crazes are.

I don't "do" social media. No accounts with any of them.

I do binge watch some TV shows at times. A medical condition can leave me physically wiped out. I'll entertain myself watching DVDs of seasons of shows I like. I don't have cable or satellite TV. No interest in it. So I am out of it when people talk about current popular shows. I tend to watch reruns of old shows on my broadcast channels.

I posted recently about moving into the 21st century by getting a smart phone. I haven't had a home phone in almost ten years. Much easier having a cell. I upgraded to a smart phone from a flip phone because there was almost no difference in cost. While I like the portable internet feature of the smartphone, but would be satisfied with a flip phone.

As others mentioned, I too love to read. There are evenings that I never even turn the TV or computer on and don't use the phone. I spend the evenings reading.

I do not follow "celebrity" news. Don't have any idea who current popular actors, singers or other entertainers are.

I don't do Instagram or snapchat, don't watch TV, don't listen to music, don't watch sports, don't watch movies (don't have patience, they are too long).

I guess I don't even know what the current crazes are. I typically do whatever pleases me, which isn't a whole lot lately, although I do have Netflix and watch a lot of the shows/movies that sound interesting. Like Orange is the new black...

I don't care about sports. Hardly know any of the current actors or singers. Don't have a smartphone or want one. I'm concerned about privacy and security. Though I have no life, I don't like the idea of being "followed" or "tracked". I think those companies try to convince people they "need" one. So they can make money.

I have an old-fashioned "dumb" cell phone that works for me. It can make calls and text, even though I hardly have anyone to call or text. I still have my landline because it's durable and has great reception no matter what.

I never watched Game of Thrones, though it sounds like my cup of tea. But I don't have HBO nor do I have anything like Netflix or Hulu. I know I'm missing some programs (like Bosch and Handmaid's Tale for example), but I hope not too much...

I don't even know what the latest fads are. I hate it when people ask why do I still have a landline. Why is it their concern? I don't care what they think, don't get me wrong. I just hate people expecting everyone to be like them or have the latest smartphone to take stupid selfies. (Stupid word!) There's another phone out that generated LONG, LONG lines to get it!

I don't own a Kindle or want one. I read books in print, the old-fashioned way.

It's a bit inconvenient at times to access e-mail since I can only do it at the (limited hours) library with their slow, old browsers. But only one person e-mails me regularly. Stupid apartment manager wants to send e-mail to everyone so she doesn't have to post notices on doors. That's HER JOB. I'm not getting a smartphone so she can send e-mail, as it's convenient for HER. Besides, it's always bad news. I don't want that crap in my e-mail.

I have never followed sports, although sometimes I hear other people talk about them.

I haven't had a TV since I moved to Houston 8 years ago, but I do have Netflix and hulu which I watch on my tablet or computer.

I don't do snapchat, and I don't have a personal Instagram account, but I do help with my church's account.

I wish I didn't NEED a smartphone...I really couldn't care less about having any phone of any kind...but...There are some perks and essentials that have pulled me through during disasters and real emergencies I've experienced. And you have no idea how many times my butt's been saved by calling AAA to help me with my car.

I'm a meme fanatic, but lately not only have the past two years of memes been atrocious, but now they have a "meme a month" where, for those who don't know, every month is "added" to a made-up calendar that shows the biggest memes per month...Really? When I was in high school, the memes were so funny that they were popular for five years, not a month. Memes these days are just terrible...I search and search for new meme pages but nothing to me is funny anymore.

And again, alongside the memes, they try to popularlize lingo that makes you sound like like you've never heard of an "education" before...like "this is so lit, fam"...who seriously uses them? Occasionally I use that when I bring out my New Jersey accent, and even still no one finds it funny...hmmmm...

My basic phone is still a phone, and I've called AAA on it a few times.

I don't know if this is a "craze" but those scooters are considered the latest way to get around vs. taking a bus or driving. They are on almost every corner, esp. busy ones. Young people ride them, no one MY age, LOL. I could never balance on them.

They ride them on the sidewalk when they should be on the street. And even then, they run lights and stop signs as well as darting in and out of traffic. It is yet another hazard I have to worry about.

I don't care about Dancing with the Stars.

There's a line from a country song I don't know the name of or the artist. But there's a line that really resonates: "Remember when we were always on Instagram,.. worrying about who gives a d a m n."

Not sure if this is a "craze" but I hear "a lot of people are cutting the cord", i.e. getting rid of cable. I don't know what "people" they mean, I guess mostly young people but I still have cable. (gasp!*) It works for me....It seems the craze is to watch TV or movies on a tiny device like a phone. I watch TV on an actual TV while sitting on the sofa.

Also, I do like some sports but not the ones that get all the ballyhoo on the media: Football, basketball, baseball...and (to a lesser degree) hockey, soccer, and boxing.
