College. Police officers call women "Bettys" - I am not a cop! Admin. of Justice major. We offered to allow the cadets to "arrest" us. It was requested as an exercise for the training Cadets. Lesson 1- women are a lot harder to arrest than men. They were about to find this out....LOL
The Captain gave us instructions to run, fight, kick, scream etc. Essentially to resist as much as possible. Anyway the Cadets were not aware of our instruction, the Captain assured us we would not be injured. I gave 110 percent when they came after me, it took 3 of them to restrain me! It was so funny because they were REALLY mad, and they got dirty too. The Captain asked what they had learned- one guy said, that girl is one bad *** Betty. Hence the name,,,teehee

I always liked the name Jennifer growing up and my birth year is 1967. Very unoriginal, I know.

I didn't put any thought into it. I just grabbed the first CD I saw off the top of my desk and used the album title as my username.

Ever since I got sober the one hobby that I've really enjoyed is tending to my Bonsai trees. I have 7 of them right now. A fig tree, a beautiful hibiscus that gives off a lovely bloom every couple of weeks, a money tree with a very thick trunk, 3 juniper trees, and my prized lemon tree that actually will bare miniature fruit once a year.

To keep these trees, I must combat my manic behavior as well as my depressive nature. The trees must be cared for, yet not over cared for. They are very delicate... Kinda like me.

I love language and I discovered these words a while ago:
Esoteric: only understood by specialists
Penumbra: a half shadow
I thought it was sufficiently edgy
