I want so much to be transhuman or a robot or a cyborg! I want to be numb! I don't want to feel pain. I want to make rational decisions. I want to be oblivious to the world of pain. Has anyone ever had such desires or something similar?

Does anyone know when this will be possible? When doctors will be able to place implants in the body to at least allow the mind to stop pain, to numb you as you see fit?

One of these days there will be ASI (artificial super intelligence). One day a lot of people, myself included, will be begging to have an ASI chip connected to the brain. Not to have it take over, but to be an assistant and a companion.

One of these days a lot of people will wear suits, perhaps kinda like Ironman. They will feel safe, as if nothing can hurt them. They too will have ASI assistant chips. For these people life will not be filled with the ups and downs associated with emotions and the physical. Instead they will have incredible peace. That's what I want. To each their own.

For now, there are sites that teach you how to be numb. They give a lot of techniques such as holding your lower lip a certain way, to be expressionless, etc etc. They actually work very well for me.
