I was too stuft to eat dessert on Thanksgiving Day, eskielover ...

PC Thanksgiving dinner

So I brought home a piece of pecan pie and had it with my coffee the next morning!

It was so yummy!

I was bad, I let my brother fix everything. It was all good, and from Thanksgiving Day till last night, I ate Thanksgiving dinner three times. That is a record for me. Three large dinner meals for three days!!! WOW

I never cook for Thanksgiving. I do potlucks and contribute a pie from the store.

I bought a large cushaw this year & was cutting it up & preparing the puree Thanksgiving morning for our meal at 1pm.....can't get much fresher than that

I can't look at food in the morning...takes time for me to wake up.....but turkey is delicious just plain with a shake of salt.

Now im reading about jellied eels everywhere! Okay, not really EVERYWHERE, but rory o'connell - irish chef has a show i started watching recently - mentioned them in an interview, that his gram used to serve them.

I have read about the ells as a survival food for the poor in Britain but I never knew they still served them today. Yuk, I know I'd never try them.

No, pretty recently a truck overturned somewheres full of them and it was quite a mess AND IIRC a financial loss? I would search for it but lordy it was GROSS!!!
