We've done this before and it was fun. Let's have a Thanksgiving dinner here at PC.

I'm popping a turkey in the oven. Also, in keeping with my country side, gonna deep fry another out in the yard.

I'm gonna be at my sisters house with no access to PC so I'll drop off a couple pies for y'all. Pumkin, strawberry/rhubarb and apple. I'll be thinking of y'all.

I'll be here! I'll bring hot fresh rolls and bread! What time are we eating?

What else do you need me to bring? LOLOL

Great idea! I'll probably stop in once or twice. I don't believe in eating animals on holidays so I'll bring some pumpkin bread and cranberry sauce. There's enough for everyone.

My boss sent us all home with a local orchard's apple cider and a frozen apple pie, you are all welcome to some. Sticking close to home the windchill is supposed to drop below zero. Anyone have a fireplace to share?

I like eel!!!

I think I told you before my daughter lives in UK. Her work place was serving thanksgiving lunch feast today! Her work place employs several Americans and it’s nice that they did that to acknowledge a holiday. She sent picture and looks like traditional thanksgiving meal and it tasted good!

Hey, no fair closing the polls OR the kitchen until the western most states have had their chance!

One of my favorite things to do is to go to an Indian or Thai restaurant and order the hottest dish on the menu. By accident i bought a package of very hot Chinese bbq pepper fish sauce, so i used that on some tofu and tomatoes over rice today. My nose ran and my lips were numb for a good half an hour afterwards - it was wonderful! Its weird though - it only starts tasting good when its 80 pct gone!

I’m bringing a decadent 5 cup salad: pineapple, berries, mandarin oranges, coconut, and sour cream. Woo hoo!

I made 2 fresh cushaw pies.....took one to my friend's to share but have one left to share here.(never too late for another piece of pie.

We had farm fresh turkey instead of wild hunted turkey. Yummy even if the dark meat was a bit tough. Had a yummy & relaxing dinner. Then came home & served my doggies their Thanksgiving health food dinner topped with organic chicken (not turkey) & we ALL fell asleep with full stomachs.

Hi divine. Jellied eels are a bit of an acquired taste. It's really the jelly that puts me off. The jelly is the cold, solidified stock and fat that the eels are boiled in. I would eels in a pie with gravy but hmm jellied eels not so much. like a lot of traditional things they're dying out along with 'pie and mash'. We still have a 'pie and mash' shop where i live cos a lot of people that live here came from the east end of london after the war ( like my parents) so it almost feels part of east london here and it's only probably 20 minutes on the train. The 'East End' has changed so much and is now full of 'hipsters'. It's lost a lot of character and characters from what i remember in the 70's. Shame really.
