Pretty crappy here today, the roads are awful. Semester exams going on, and the Superintendent in his infinate wisdom felt it was necessary that the kids go to school to day so I had to slide all the way to the high school.
Only to find out, that the kids were getting out right after lunch. Still counts as a whole school day, not a snow day. Most of the weather on the news is about how cold it's going to be for the Packer/Giants game on Sunday. I swear, talk about a one track mind!

wow!... on my way to work a 50 ft evergreen blew down onto the road right in front of me.... these are some strong winds... they've reached 150 mph before...

its -30 C now lol... wind chill is still - 42 C sposed to go down to -34 C tonight. wonder if my car will start.. even though it is plugged in

Yeserday and thru the night last night we had very bad winds. We've got some soffet that has blown off the house actually. I just noticed my weatherbug blinking here and now they have a winter storm watch out starting tomorrow night thru Friday night. 6-10 inches of snow predicted. If course I know this might not happen.. but geeeeeeeeeeez.. this is taking me back 30 yrs ago to when we had the Blizzard of '78 going on.. What a mess that was.. I hope we never have to go thru that again!!!

Only -3C or so here today, too warm for my liking. It's -23C/-9F in my old town where I used to live, and about -34C in the other town I lived in... I miss living in Québec!

Hey, Ledgewood, my husband spent 3 winters in Ft. Churchill, Manitoba. He use to be warm all the time but the longer it's gotten since he worked there the easier he gets cold :-)

So far today, we have had hail, thunderstorms and rain. Later on it is supposed to turn to sleet and freezing rain, and then snow tonight!!!!
