We've had dreary with occasional spitting drizzle and fog all week but are expecting the mess Thursday too. The temps go up and down a different amount each day so we have one day in the high 50's then the next in the high 30's. My asthma is not liking all the changes.

oh hon I wish we could get some moisture! I went over that lake monday and just cried! it is looking in many parts like a desert. people are out picking up trash there that has flown out of boats and what not over the yrs so at least that is a good thing.

We had fog this morning. FOG! And thick!! When I looked out my window I freaked out....that movie The Mist has not been good for me haha!
It's 36 degrees now. The sun is starting to burn the fog off. Gonna be a cold day, but no more rain.......

Glad you are weathering the pre-winter storms okay. I hope your drive in to work is clear and safe.
Here we are looking forward to a cool weekend in the high 60's which might feel a little more Christmasy than the 80's have felt. Much needed rain may also come with the cooler temps and could make the brown green again. I'm looking forward to getting the windows open again! |

It just started snowing in Kansas.
The little kid in me is pretty excited. No more 1-3/4 treks to school until mid-January, so I can just sit back and enjoy the beauty. EJ

 Errrrrrrrrr I got up this morning.. and checked out the forcast. I knew there was a winter storm warning in place. But last night ...they were forcasting 6-10 inches.. now its up to 10-15!!! By tomorrow early evening! Uhmmm if this happens.. hubby wont be going to work at all! And its getting to a point out there right now where I can see this happening. I can barely see a shadow of the woods way back there. Glad I got groceries last night.. So many are waiting till today to do that! YIKES!Hope everyone can stay warm!! Thinking of you!! Hugz Bethy

Its been snowing and blowing alot most of the day .. I took these picturea around 4pm today. Its coming down good.. but not sticking I dont think. Course they have said that we will have sleet and freezing rain thru the night here then turn to heavy snow by early morning. I still dont know about the 10 -15inches they are caling for. I dont think we will get that. But I've been wrong before lol hahahaa Hey at least I can admit it!

Its like a blizzard here. The winds are gusting 40-50 mph. And snowing and drifting. I cant get out my back door. People are actually trying to drive in this stuff! I really dont see my husband being able to make it into work tonight. But we'll see.
This is what it looks like out my windows right now.

It's actually snowing here in WV also! It started this morning with ice pellets, and now it's snowing! I want a BIG snow!
