A possible goal for me for this month is
1. start playing guitar (I can't play) or 2. have one professional piano lesson or 3. have one therapy session (I would fund this) do you have any possible goals for this month? (not including things like medical appointments etc. therapy sessions are ok but not anything ''medical'' please)

Hmm... fun goals...
1. Play music once a week (to see if that brings me more energy). 2. Read one book. |

Thank you for this thread @Fuzzybear
![]() Your goals sound like fun! Playing a new instrument like the guitar or piano sounds like a fun idea! Can you afford to do therapy and play a new instrument? |

![]() I can't afford regular therapy sessions. I could afford piano lessons (maybe) but find them very stressful (I tried a few years ago... I guess maybe it might not be as stressful now ![]() ![]()

I plan to attend at least one therapy and start journaling. Does journaling count? I also plan to just relax and not pressure myself so much.

You can't afford regular therapy sessions. You don't have insurance? The T can't do the 'sliding scale' thing where you pay only what you can afford? That's sad. (((safe hugs))) We should all be in therapy at least once a week. Awe, no wonder you put therapy on this list. (((safe hugs))) ![]() |

1. Read for pleasure regularly, whatever that is.
2. Make some strides on my sleep situation. 3. Don't be admitted to the hospital

Stuff I am working on.....staining the wood frames around my windows so I can start putting the moulding up around them (ok, I have procrastinated on this job for 12 yeard
![]() I bought 2 electric (fake) fireplaces beginning of September. I got the one set up in my familyroom in front of my BROKEN REAL fireplace. Just hauled the other one upstairs & into my bedroom yesterday & set up. Nice & warm now. Winter weather is hitting next week. Have to get the water heaters set up for my horse's water & get winter hay arranged for. Still trying to get stepping stones set in place & the material down to stop the weeds & lay the gravel. Cutting back brush while the leaves are off the bushes. No end of the work that needs done. Putting even a dent in what is needed is a good goal for me

I also want to do some things more consistently: read for pleasure (and finish books), exercise (like walking / jogging), and knit more.

1. Don't get floridly manic or really psychotic. I'm a little psychotic fairly often, but I don't want it to get any worse than occasional voices and maybe a little paranoia. That, I can manage.
2. Don't get admitted to the hospital.

Without doubt, move house so my family and I can have the perfect property for us, preferably gated to keep the riffraff out.
![]() We now have 8 fine properties to view, so if next door gets sold as it is valued slightly under the going rate for its 4 bedroom residence, it could mean we get to net £800,000 after corporation tax. I know is a lot of money, but then my late parents' home is bang on the seafront where all similar properties are valued more or less the same. Lovely in summer and just as exciting (bar ferocious gales) in winter, owners have to take the rough with the smooth. It will be a terrible wrench to leave my dear Dad's house. But life goes on because my partner and I want to start a family. ![]() The first property on our list is out in the sticks. This is promising because it backs onto a small forest. The forest trees though stripped of leaves from a recent gale include a walnut tree and a sweet chestnut tree just like my late parents' home. It also has a large 25 metre stone-built greenhouse that faces south, leaning to a substantial Sussex flint wall. This is a fine example of as Sussex flint wall. Google images. ![]() ^ Beautiful,. isn't it? So exactingly built by a master craftsman brick/flint layer. The property is detached and has 6 bedrooms. It is Grade 2 listed: which by definition is an UK building or structure that is "of special interest, warranting every effort to preserve it" This is going to be interesting! ![]() |
