Maybe someone remembers that I usually start these threads every year
This year has been a quite important one for me, because I got my first jobs. The first one wasn't really my dream job, but I was happy to have something useful to do while waiting to find something else. When this job finished I found another one that I like much more and with very nice colleagues, and I'm really grateful for this
I don't have many hours of work yet though, so I'm not earning much (luckily I have the support of my parents), and plus the schedule is not the best one. If I could have a wish for next year it would be to improve the situation with this job and possibly to find also something else, but something that I also like, as I like this one. Hope the wish will come true

Want to share what made you feel grateful this year?

I'm grateful for the support my friends gave me this year to start therapy. Therapy was something I thought about for a long time but dismissed because I kept telling myself I was fine ("I survived this long without help" type of thoughts, even though I was miserable, crying every night, and had no energy and motivation for a long, long time). I finally sought help this year because my friends encouraged me a lot. I hope I improve a lot more mentally and with everything else in the new year.

Hope your job situation continues to get better in the new year, BeaFlower. We both survived another year and that's wonderful.

Everything.....but mostly after waiting 12 years to have my horse here on my farm, she was shipped 2100 miles & arrived here last June. Such an exciting day.

Also glad the little 4 month old kitten showed up on my farm right after my horse & he made my farm home. Most awesome kitten I have ever had.

Glad that my 18 1/2 year old eskie dog is still with me after losing her younger brother to lung cancer last year December. That has been the hardest loss I have ever experienced & this has been a rough year because of that.....so everything else basically being glad things has helped a little.

I'm grateful for my neurofeedback guy that I started working with this year.

It hasn't been perfect, I haven't really gotten the results from the NF that I was hoping for. But, he's been a huge source of hope and encouragement for me. Plus, I've learned about fasting from him, and have easily lost a bit of weight with that. Ooh, and he introduced me to the sauna, which I had never tried before!

That's been my biggest, best thing this year. I'm also, always!, grateful to my piano teacher who is incredibly smart and empathetic, and makes me feel heard and, well, human.

Iḿ grateful for PC and some tiny progress towards being more social and involved in the local community. Nothing really significant, but a step in the right direction

As has been said by others, I too am grateful for PC. This is the first & only online anything I've been a member of. I've seen other members say that they've tried other online forums & that this one is the best. So I feel very fortunate.

Oh! So, I just posted in my thread about my neighbor's dogs.

She's talked to her dog walker, and they agreed that when she travels, the dogs will spend "sleep over" with the dog walker. They'll still be home during the day (but I can deal with that) - but will spend the night at the other house.

This... I am so incredibly grateful for this! This will be such a huge help, as they're very loud and excitable, and tend to bark late at night when their person isn't there, making it difficult to relax/sleep!

Yay!
