I had a good day today. It was one of those days you realize you have support and amazing people in your life, and people do care. I care about them too.

Also despite a change in my plans in early January, I'm still moving forward in my goals, and my challenges are easier now, since I've been...facing them daily. It feels Very good to see how far I've come.

I'm exercising again, my days are full, and I'm really looking forward to a new volunteer position - I will be helping the elderly, as well as continuing my other volunteer gig.

DBT and therapy really has changed my life. I'm just feeling very grateful today and wanted to share.

Congratulations!!! This is quite the milestone! How does it feel to look back and see how far you have come?

Isn't it wonderful to write that out and share with your peers?

May I ask what is your other volunteer gig? If you would rather not say, I will respect your choice.

Thank you bpc and HC!

Happy Crafter, I do office work for an organization that...helps people!

Yes I do see a lot of change from "back then" to now. its a good feeling. Like wow.

Also want to note that not everyday is great for me lol. (But something great in everyday!). I still have stuff to work on and issues. But yesterday was good and it made me really happy. change is possible.

Ooh! Congratulations, I'm happy for you too! Sounds like things are going well!

I'm curious, if you don't mind, how DBT helped you get here (you mentioned "DBT and therapy really has changed my life. ") - anything in particular that was really helpful? Or anything that you picked up in therapy?

thanks!

Thanks everyone today is a little...different from the other day. Lol. I'm going through a med change so I'm pretty low energy at the moment. But its not too bad and could be worse. Knock on wood.

Hope you all have a good weekend
