I read eyes the best. I can tell what is on someone's mind, someone's intentions, or someone's emotions just by looking someone in the eye. At the same token, I tend to attract negative attention by looking someone in the eye...homeless people and drug addicts will look me in the eye and want to engage me for whatever reason. I guess reading eyes is good because everyone is wearing a mask.

Are you best able to read eyes, lips or body language?

I can read eyes and body language. I can't really lip read unless perhaps I already know what's likely going through the person's mind.

I've become adept at reading people's basic body language. Facial expressions can say a lot. It's said 70% of a persons communication is transmitted through body language, too.

Eyes if extreme and obvious look such as fear or anger, but not always sure. Reading body language is the same, has to be very obvious and do not always get subtle clues. Do not always understand sarcasm and will sometimes wonder “is this person serious or being sarcastic.”

I lost my hearing when I was 3 and a half. I just learned to read lips and body language as a result. Lips alone are hard I need the body too. I’m very good at telling when someone is lying.

Body language and mostly tone of voice. The way a person speaks reveals a lot. I don't mean their words but tone, speed and facial expression.

As a result of autism, I rarely meet eye contact, so since before I can remember, I've cheated and looked at people's noses and lips... and as such picked up reading lips as a side effect.

I'm useless at body language.

Eyes showcase emotions, read lips is good, but the lips are very seclusive in nature, but body language i think is easiest to understand.

A bit of all three.

I'm a pretty sharp observer of people in general. And I can spot a lie from about a mile away because I had an especially prolific liar (and manipulative, calculating schemer) for a little sister. She wasn't a compulsive liar; she knew exactly what she was doing, and did it anyway.

I also developed a skill at body language and reading eyes, as a natural result of all of this, too.

Probably eyes the best, then body language. I can't read lips well at all.

Are there any tips for lip reading? Can't do it, and I don't hear well, so I'm trying to find something that helps besides hearing aids. (They are outrageously expensive!)

I think you can "hear" a person's emotions in all sorts of ways. They sort of emanate what they are feeling if that makes sense. Whether it's the language of the eyes or body language, certain people can pick it up. It's sort of one or the other for me.
