"Toxic Positivity". It tops EVERYTHING and is everywhere. I'm reading a book on it by Whitney Goodman. Turns out it's been around much, much longer than I thought.

having to explain to people about the queen being dead, then them looking at you as if to say... nah, surely she's not dead- it's like A, you're from england. how do you not know about this all ready?. it's everywhere. B, would I joke about something as serious as the death of the queen?

then she said to me... oh cool, I always wanted us to have a king which I thought was just disrespectful

Those little square plastic doohickies that tie up loaves of bread. I've got this huge unnecessary loathing for them.

Getting different answers from different people. Depending on who I talk to, I hear something different about why it's taking so long to get the pair of glasses I ordered. I have other pairs but I really want those for that bright sun.

When you ask someone in person a simple yes or no question (will you be home for dinner?) and there is no response at all. Not even an ummm or hmm or any acknowledgement at all that they were asked a question. NOTHING. And no, they weren't wearing earbuds and they don't have a hearing impairment. And they were looking at you when you asked the question.

Pet Peeve number 2 is when someone who didn't respond hours earlier is mad they weren't included because they never answered the question. Then says I didn't know you wanted me to answer.

Oh boy can I relate to all that. People don’t respond to me, not even a yes or no most of the time. I’ve gotten to the point where I expect it to happen now. That way I won’t be so disappointed. What are your pet peeves?

The banging head emoji is one of my favorites and I use it a lot. It’s so expressive and he can bang his head on my behalf. So yes I bang my head when they don’t respond. These same people wonder why they didn’t hear from me again and I say because they didn’t respond.

Sad hugs to you. What are your pet peeves?

No emojis on here but it’s user friendly for posting. Hope that gif appears, I’m not real tech savvy.

My alarm going off in the middle of a nice dream, something I rarely have or remember. Why couldn’t I have stayed in that dream a bit longer?
