My cats were not fond of the neighbourhood, professionally presented fireworks display that the locals put on every year at Labour Day weekend. They have it in the park, in the village. But the cats have gotten used to it, and are not startled by it anymore. Girl kitty slept right through last year's display.

But I understand when people's pets are made anxious by them. I know, anxiety is no fun; neither is fear. So I have mixed feelings on whether I want to keep making contributions to the annual show.

I'm glad you were able to get out and go, LL. I understand what it means to participate in social things, now.
