i finally got a new laptop. it works great except i noticed sometimes when i press the "capslk" key, it cannot be undone. i have to restart for the issue to go away. is this enough of an issue to return the laptop?

You might want to take it to the place you got it to see if they can fix it rather than returning it. Did you get insurance on it?
Thanks for this!

i got it from amazon and the deadline to return is 9/29. the capslk issue came up from day one but at the time i did not know what was causing it. only realized just now it was because the capslk key gets stuck. i did not get insurance on it.

It's an annoying problem that you should not deal with. Amazon is very easy to deal with. If you don't return it, this falls on the manufacturer to fix. Remember you should NOT have to pay any return shipping fees bc the item is faulty.
Thanks for this!
