Not sure if anyone did a thread but what do you hope to achieve in 2023?

For me:
Yes, lose weight.
Finalize some tasks around my house.
Maybe buy a new car
Travel to Europe on my own and see what I want.
Maybe get a new pet
Make one new friend

Any you?

read more. not just a few pages and then put it down, read to the end of books

Get a tattoo

get better at cooking

become more mature and stop laughing at my own jokes (which really arn't that funny to begin with)

Stop oversharing

Realise I'm not emortal and actually take life seriously

make new online friends (and by friends people I talk to personally, not just in threads).
Thanks for this!

I'll give this a shot. There are a couple of "thorns" in me that I would like to have plucked out (or in other words, changes made on the things that are wrong in my life now):

#1 - Being inspired to leave where I'm living at now. The cost of living is more than what I'm taking in each month. I need to relocate to a place where the rents are less. If I make the move, I'll miss where I am now even though I don't know why. It would be helpful if I knew someone at a area where it could be a good location for me to move to.

#2 - Either making a good friend, which is much needed for me now, or being in a sense of community. I feel like this is a "tall" order. I have never been able to make friends easily all of my life. I've been out to all kinds of social group meetings and support groups and none of them ever worked out well for me.

So those are the two things I'm hoping for in the coming year.

Finally finalize the purchase of the property we are buying. Be fully able to manage the purchase on our own.

I'd like to make at least one new friend where we plan to live.

Better learn the Czech language.

1. Learn more Spanish before my trip to Peru
2. Stay within budget
3. Manage my relationship with my sister so that she doesn't stress me out with her "drama"
4. Spend more time with my parents
5. Sustain a new friendship that I made this year in 2022.

This is my fifth hopeless year
I had a life full of lists, back in the days
I shall be grateful for that

My only hope is for my grandma, my aunt and my mother not to suffer when their time comes and for my father's soul to be in heaven while mine is at the opposite side.

Get into better shape physically so that I can actually walk for an hour without having to stop for rests by the end of the year.

Be better at cleaning and keeping my room clean starting with a major cleanup this weekend and early next week.

Complete certification as a Peer Support Worker.

First and foremost, returning as soon as possible, to the earlier in the day routine I had achieved for myself before Winter really hit. I was far more productive and satisfied when I was sticking to that regimen.

Finding anew doctor, hopefully someone humanitarian and compassionate. It's a big ask, I know.

Exercising more, by using the things I have at hand already (not buying more equipment).

If I can do these things, everything will be different, and more possibilities will open up for me, I hope.
