Depends where you work I suppose, in retail it’s positively encouraged and a lot of customers seem to enjoy it.

Depends where you work and what’s that day’s activity: are you leading a meeting that day or argue a case in court or something more casual etc
I have a Halloween sweater and earrings I wore today. Some people dress up. Some don’t. |

I'd also think it would depend on what your Halloween costume is: Donald Duck, Frankenstein, witch, etc?
I would think a decent black or orange sweater could be okay. But I'd ask the powers that be first. |
