He sure is. I had no idea. I didn't know the guy existed until I saw that first video a couple of weeks ago and that was a show from years ago. I've been listening to more of his early musical comedy...Where the heck have I been not to hear of this guy??? He's got quite a resume!
Thanks for this!

@Mar Dhea, did you know Tim played Judas in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar? I got chills listening to this!

Savage! *howling with laughter at 4:30am Sunday morning* The man is absolutely savage! Again how I've missed hearing of him I'll never know. Granted he may not be popular like some but I would have picked up on this immediately had I seen it even for a short minute. That short vid you sent was really an eye-opener. Yep quite the broad talent and quite the resume. Family man on top of it all. Thumbs up for sure.

I watched the JCS Iscariot bit a few days ago after hearing it mentioned and found I think the same video you sent. Pretty powerful performance wasn't it! Lauded by the critics too. Chops he's got all right. A pretty prolific career as a tv and screen actor too. That second vid you sent?...that one in particular makes my day. Preach Tim! Preach! Boy oh boy he was on fire there...good messages. Such keen & relevant insight. Thanks again LL. :

I'm with you. Cannot believe I never heard of him before. Multi-talented does not begin to describe him. I fall down a rabbit hole in YouTube every time I watch one of his videos.

Hi! One show is fairly close but I probably can't make it. I would if I could! The delivery of that 'take no prisoners' wit kills me! I'm wondering now what material will debut.

@Mar Dhea, I bought the DVD of JC Superstar with Minchin as Judas. I've seen JCS multiple times, in multiple forms. This is by far the best I've seen! Andrew Lloyd Weber himself says Minchin's performance ever.

Again, thank you for introducing me to his work!

I've never seen it but have known of it since a youngster. I did watch a clip of Minchin's main[?] song and wow...he made an impression. The guy knows his crafts! [plural] Minchin was near as new to me as he was to you LL. As I said I saw that first video and couldn't believe how I missed this guy. I'm always poking around the net for interesting performers/comedians that make me laugh...how did I miss him? Not like he was a fringe act either. He had been well established for years. Oh well...lots to catch up on!

And I'll thank you again for that documentary link. Really enjoyed that. Interesting character even more than expected. You've watched the DVD? I'm going to poke about the net and see if it's anywhere I can access it. If Andrew Lloyd approves then that's probably the highest praise. I'm going to go watch that clip again right now.

@mardhea, since you like the Dear God clip I think you'll like this one. A warning to all Tim uses some cuss words in this one.
