I just saw a commercial for a new single serving size of Spam patties in a plastic package... Hubby will be so happy! Hubby will be so happy!

I can just pack him bread and a Spam pack now...don't have to worry about the ucky smell of opening the can...Now, I wonder if they have single size microwave servings of Dinty Moore Beef Stew..He'll be elated!

I'm happy for you to not have to deal with openning the can and cutting up the spam. Frankly I find the concept of spam a little yucky.

Silly Tomi...You are right on that....But since hubby likes his fried up and crispy and generally only eats one sandwich, these new packs will be nice.

Nope, didn't know about the single Dinty Moores ...will have to check that out..

The labelled ingredients in the Classic variety of Spam are: chopped pork shoulder meat with ham meat added, salt, water, sugar, and sodium nitrite to help "keep its color". The product has become part of many jokes and urban legends about mystery meat, which has made it part of pop culture and folklore.

It's better and healthier than hot dogs! Besides, all those people from Philadelphia that eat scrapple Hubby will be so happy! now there's a product to be investigated; that and head cheese.
