He left for his fishing trip in Florida today...the jerk.

I love him. I miss him already. I'm worried about his traveling to SC alone.

He gave me two weeks to prepare for this with EVERYTHING going on here that we're in the middle of and responsible for.

He's a HARD-working man who deserves this and my support of it...taking care of his family, another's child as if it's his own, etc., etc., etc.

I love that jerk and hope he hurries home safely but after having an amazing, relaxing time with his brother...just the two of them.

He's a jerk once a year and he's used it up for 2007. Hubby He's my jerk. Hubby

I'm really anxious right now and will be until he's home safely. Really anxious...

(((((KD))))))

My hubby is in FL right now, too. His is business, so he's not really a jerk, but I always miss him and worry about him. And I miss having the human furnace next to me at night. Dang, it's cold!

Hopefully the time will pass quickly. All we can do is take it one moment at a time.

Anything girlie you could do while he's gone? Favorite dinners that he doesn't like? There are small benefits to having the hubster gone. Not enough, of course, but it helps.

I'd say, "Meet ya at Giant Jesus", but it's too danged cold. Course there's always coffee shops.

Take care, sweetie.

GG, thank you! No, there's nothing really I can do because I have my little man and no sitters. Hubby His parents and grandmother, both, are "unavailable" at this time. Hubby

I would love to go on a short trip myself. Maybe someday soon...

I wish the time passes quickly for you as well! Got an electric blanket? Hubby I'm peri-menopausal so that part is a relief thinking about. Hubby

hehehehehe.

Everyone in real life says to me, "what's the deal with the alone time???" I jokingly respond, "cause i want to sit on the couch nakie." *shock* they don't know how to respond to that and i said, "that's the point. do i want to do that? no. do i WANT to be able to do that or anything else if i so choose? YES!!!"

Well, what did i do? i sat in solitude...no t.v., no kids screaming, no one saying kim/mom do this. it was just me in my universe. i rarely am able to "sit with myself". it's so cool to be able to do that and like it...to enjoy the peace and quiet without fear, thoughts, etc.

i took advantage and found a special place inside of me last night. i feel a peace today that's rare for me. Hubby

I will tell you that I wanted to stay up all night and sleep all day and didn't...hehe. I was too relaxed! When I couldn't hold my eyes open anymore, I went to bed and all the "normal" sounds in this house felt magnified. I was home alone for the whole night! Whew. I made sure all the windows and doors were locked, turned on the t.v. to my favorite show and slept so hard without moving that I woke up with my arm hurting at the elbow! LOL. It hurts to type!

It's so good to be able to do exactly what you want without comments of any kind! Hubby

Bend and unbend that elbow and work that pain out. I sleep that way sometimes, too, but it's my shoulder that hurts when I wake up. Hubby

My hubby goes away on "boy's" trips several times a year. Which probably makes him a super jerk.

I know how you feel Kimmy.
