who has them and where/what do they mean?

I have a black rose on my lower back w/ the word immortality. The black rose represents my past sadness. The ommortality is what ivy means in ancient egypt (my name). But now that the sadness is gone, I will get it highlighted with a different color soon.

I have 3 kanji symbols on my spine that mean love, power, happiness.

and on my neck i have a symbol that means protection against evil.

Oh boy, this could take a long time I have a lot of tattoos. These are a few.

I have three small diagonal claw marks tattooed on the back of my neck, and underneath it I have the word Hyène (hyena) tattooed. All my friends have the claw marks, and each of us has a different animal name under it. Mine is hyena, because it's an animal that has great influence over my life.

On my ankle, I have the Toronto Blue Jays logo (along with a few other sports team logos). I think this one is self-explanatory... go Jays!

On my arms I have different animals, each one of them tells a different story- from the noble eagle, to the wily fox. I also have an arctic wolf on my leg, with the Arabic word for power.

On my arm I also have some of the lyrics to Scared by Three Days Grace (but the tattoos are all well done, not cluttered!).

I also have some of the lyrics to Be Prepared and the three hyenas from the lion king tattooed on me... and anyone who says that they aren't tough tattoos is wrong!

im debating what my next one should say. I want it on my forearm (the inside part before it bends) and i want it to have something to do with my hubby. I was thinking Ionka (which is jason in hawaiian) but im not sure. I was also thinking something in arabic or german (like a short saying about marraige or my love for my hubby) but i am stuck....

I have one black line just to the left of my spine from my neck to the small of my back. I don't like having many tattoos so just one thin one is enough.

"imiimogen" written on my chest where my heart is. it is not an actual tattoo but me and imi did it when we were little so it is a scar. she has the same too, to show that we are not two seperate people but one.

Leo zodiac symbol on inner right ankle.

"Ravyn" in the small of my back. I drew that one. It's my name.

One more on the side of my rib cage is coming. thinking a horse running colored like the american flag with "Freedom" in cursive underneath it. I'm ready for it but dread the pain. It's a sensitive area.

I don't like to put them where everyone sees them all the time because I work for a VERY professional Agency.

Though generally comfortable with commitment,,I find the decision of a tattoo and the permanence it represents difficult for this man who forever expects change...

But I have no bigotry for those who make this decision,,but can be saddened when used as a form of personal abuse.

I want to get a tattoo one day and I actually know what I want. I want to get a sparrow on my shoulder with hebrew for life underneath the sparrow. The bird will represent my great-grandmother and grandmother both of who had a huge influence on my life and both where huge bird lovers and watchers.Birds have always been an an important symbol in my life.

I have a vine with flowers and leaves going around my right wrist like a bracelet.

I used to have a star on my upper left arm, but I had it removed with laser treatments. You can't see it anymore.

one on my foot is woodstock the bird that i got on my 18th birthday. i have the chinese character for love on the back of my neck and a day lilly on my left side on my ribs. love has obvious meanings. the woodstock was just because i turned 18 lol.

the day lilly is the one with the most meaning. its the flower of rebirth and reminds me everytime i feel like giving up that ive been to the bottom and survived.

I have an inverted triangle overlapped by a feather pen trailing ink on my left shoulder blade. The triangle is a gay symbol (I'm bi for those that didn't know) and the feather pen is to remind myself of my dream of being a writer.

I'm with silversparrow. I'll be getting a tattoo one day. I've already decided what to place but I'm still canvassing where to have it done. It'll be something like this and with this written under it. I'll have it placed left-side, below my navel. ;]

I have 'Megan Lea' on my wrist. I got it when I was 17 about a year ago... and I'd wanted it for years. It's a symbol to remind me that I am an individual, with my own thoughts and feelings, and to remind me never to forget who I really am.

I love it. Its really delicate (I only have small wrists), and really neat aswell

@ Clandestine... my boyfriend Phil is absolutely addicted to Miami ink and LA ink!!!

I'm also getting one done on my wrists, but it'll just be a letter in Gothic/Script saying "K", which is the initial of my name.. ;] I had it done in henna once and it looked great.

And BabyG, you should watch it too! It's an awesome show. Love for the art!!

I do! He's got me well into it, but I can only watch it at his house because I havent got sky ... but they are all absolutely AMAZING artists, they're so realistic. I love how someone can just give them an idea and they use their imagination to create a design just like that... that's true talent for you

I want several more!! like 6- 8 more...But anyway the one I do have is located on my left shoulder blade... a dove in flight, carrying a long stem red rose and gold cross necklace in its mouth with a halo over its head... has many personal meanings to me.... I absolutely LOVE Miami Ink!!! LA Ink is cool too....

i want a tattoo of this skull with wings coming of the side with a banar rapped around underneath it in the banor its going to say rissie its going to be on my arm then on my back i want a white tiger with a orange sun in the upper corner of my shoulder i turn 18 soon so i saving up for my first few tattoo's

u know i still want a bird on my foot to represent me getting over my anxiety, but i still havent beat it! I at least want to get through anxiety 98% so 2% anxiety wouldnt be so bad.
