Across the Universe is one of the most amazing frickin movies ever!
I absolutely love the songs...they're all Beatles songs!!
It has got to be the trippiest, most psychadelic movie I have ever seen. Yay!!*cough*shrooms!!*cough* uh, I mean... Has anyone seen Across the Universe?

First time I saw it I HATED it- the main character stole my hair colour, my name, and my accent Has anyone seen Across the Universe? My girlfriend loved it though.

Second time I saw it, it really grew on me and I actually enjoyed it (for a musical).

I'd have to say Girl, I've Just Seen a Face, With a Little Help from my Friends, and I Want You were the best scenes and songs.

I was like Ledgewood when I first saw it I didn't like it. But then I kept singing the songs..they are still stuck in my head. So I went and rented it again and watched it again and feel in love. I want the soundtrack so bad. It is definatly one of the better movies based of songs from a rock band. I really like the way they redid all the songs it makes it fresh and reaches out to a whole new generation.

yes. julie tamore usually produces operas. the love story was silly and contrived to fit the songs--but i don't care! the reinterpretation of beatle songs was fresh and inviting. i bought the soundtrack 2cds for ten bucks at amazon, can't beat the price; i play it in the car.
best visual part of the movie was the psychedelic end titles. dont turn off the dvd too early!
