I am lowmel and i am still coming to terms with bi polar disorder and with post traumatic disorder it makes things really hard. What medications work and where do i get the people i love support. It has destroyed my life and i cannot lose anymore

On the medication front I'd recommend two things. 1. A psychiatrist and 2. Start connecting with people in the Drug Questions and Bi Polar sections of this site. There are just so many different med combos that there's no single answer to the question.

As for your family, I'd recommend they start by reading about your illness and should they need further help, to see a counselor or therapist on their own.
