My husband and I have been watching Dancing with the Stars this season and really enjoying it. This is probably due to the recent writers' strike. We have totally avoided reality type shows in the past.

It's interesting that the two top dancers are athletes. Having a deaf contestant has also been good to watch. Being a senior citizen myself, it was great to see Priscilla Presley (about 60 years of age) competing with all the others.

Are there more fans here of Dancing with the Stars? Do you think Christy Yamaguci (sp?) will win the whole thing?

Oh I LOVE the show!

It's wonderful to see how these folks progress over the weeks (well some of them progress LOL). I think Christy will dance away with the top spot. Hope I didn't just jinx her LOL

Priscilla is a good dancer, I think she is so graceful. I hope I'm that hot when I get her age.

Christy Yamaguchi is already considered a dancer....I think it's kinda cheating, she most definitely had a strong advantage. She claims that ice skating is flat footed and dancing is different, but that don't mean crap really.

Oh I think I have to disagree a bit with you (((((((((((youOme))))))))))))))))))

She may be athletic and have a lot of grace because of her ice skating....but she is right...dancing is a different beast altogether I think. And while she had to put a certain amount of emotion in her skating, it fails in comparrison to the emotion that needs to be shown in these dances....plus she wasn't a couples skater....so having to move together with someone and have faith in a partner is a different thing for her too (like all of them actually) Dancing With The Stars

I love dancing with the stars...It is the only reality show I watch...I think Christy has a good chance of winning...but you never know what can happen in the next few weeks...In the other seasons I watched and a woman hasn't won yet!! This could be the year!

in the first season of dancing... a woman won. She was ABC soap opera actress Kelly LaMonaco.
I think the reason men are winning is that the show has evolved into a woman's show and they vote for good-looking men. Of course having disabled females competing like McCartney's Ex and Matlin this season cuts down the amount of females capable of winning from the get-go.
