I finally found a house that me and my husband fell in love with, we are first time buyers, and we just put in an offer, and got counter-offered by the bank for this forclosure property. The counter offer was fair, so we said okay lets do it. Now I have to wait for them to sign the whatever-you-call it, then we can get the escrow rolling! 3br/1ba w 12x24 pool, garage, cathederal ceiling in L.room, and vaulted ceilings everywhere else. Im in love!

Congrats. I love my vaulted ceilings except that is where my smoke detector is its in the peak of the ceiling so the landlord has to come over to change my batteries LOL.

engagement is to marraige as escrow is to buying house.... I am totally having de ja vu while i am going through down the road of home buying. It reminds me of the same buzy brain i had when I was planning my wedding. What a task! Lets see, Ive gotten married, im buying a house.... whats next? i am seriously thinking college.

congratulations, this is wonderful!
you will need a duster on a lengthening pole, they aren't expensive, and they work great to get the dust bunnies way up there - happy house-warming!
