I need to share about my cats because nobody believes me when I tell them that my cats are wierd!
My older cat has played fetch since she was a kitten. Mostly with those plastic rings that are on milk jugs. But if you throw it when someone other then the immediate family is in the house, she won't do it! She also pulls her fur with her teeth whenever someone scratches right above her tail. That she will do in front of anyone! My cats are wierd!
My second cat is only about a year and a half old. Since about 5 or 6 months old she has prefered fruits and veggies to her catfood. She will jump up on my lap and take a piece of celery out of my hand and eat it. No kidding!! My cats are wierd! She ate grapes with me the other night, and she will stand in the kitchen and cry until I give her a piece of tomato! My cats are wierd!
My cats are wierd!!

I remember cats and their weirdness. I really enjoyed making aluminum foil balls for my cat to bat back and forth!!

Now, I have a "popping" guinea pig.

Thanks for sharing your cute story about your cats, I've seen cats play fetch before. I once had a cat that loved peanut butter and apple juice.

One of my cats likes peanut butter -- and the other one does not. The one that does goes after the knife I have used to spread it when he sees me put it into the sink.

I had a cat that liked canned mushrooms (probably not good for him but he lived to be 17+) but have never heard of a cat liking fruits and veggies (other than grass if that's a veggie? LOL).

I have two cats now and one's into boxes :-) and eating photographs if they're around and the other searches for rubberbands. The female sort of plays fetch; she brings her toys to me on the bed (like babies I think). I have told her over and over, "No mice on the bed!" but she just laughs at me and brings her blue or other little colored toy mice or balls to me anyway My cats are wierd!

That's so cute. One of my cats will climb up on my husband when we're in bed, then roll off so he's upside down between us. That's how he likes to sleep.

Oh yeah....My cat is strange too!!! She's a vegan!!! She won't eat any cat food unless it has veggies in it and isn't a huge fan of meat.

The cats we used to have loved those milk rings! I swear by them!!!!

My cat LOVES to play fetch, chase her tail, climb anything and everything (seriously, she tried to climb up a wall once) likes to eat fruits and vegtables, and occationaly pasta, likes to stalk me until I play with her, acts in general very wild (if you pet her you draw back a nub) she catapults herself off of furniture when playing and can do flips when playing, STILL tries to nurse even though she's almost a year old and isn't exactly graceful.

Oh, and he mom likes to drink water by dipping her paw in the water and licking it off, and eating by reaching in the bowl and putting some on the floor to eat.

I think my cat's win in the weirdness category My cats are wierd!
My poor kitten though, everyone keeps saying that she must be mentaly retarded or something. I know BOTH my cats are probably insane but I love 'em to itty bitty pieces.

Well I have some weird cats too.

My oldest female REFUSES to eat ANYTHING but catfood except for tuna.

Seriously, she wont even go for a pat of butter, turns her nose right up.

My second youngest male kitty milo has slightly crossed eyes, and is sort of..er, slow..lol. He sometimes trips over his own feet and used to walk into walls as a kitten. Hes cute tho

And the last kitten i have, is almost two, Scamp. And hes the WEIRDEST cat you will ever meet.

Hes addicted to raw carrots, has twenty seven toes, extra bones in his back feet, and likes to sleep on my head.

Heres an album of their pics

I am loving these cat stories! LOL! I too am a life long cat lover. I now have four, 2 males, 2 females and they each have their own distinctive personalities. The oldest and largest is male, his name is Drake. He is kind of the papa of the group. When we first brought home the second male it was just a tiny feral kitten. Drake would lay atop of him and hold him down to bathe him. When he did that the kitten would squall and growl like someone was trying to kill him! Talk about a baby that didn't like bath time, LOL!

Drake also seems to think he is a horse! There are two paints in the field behind our house and he plays with them! It is so funny! But the cutest thing is when you look out and they are all lying together sunbathing or rolling in the dirt. Hilarious!!!!

Love your cats, donut. I never knew a cat that would eat celery. Even my horse won't eat celery. But he loves dog biscuits so he is a bit strange too.

You might want to be cautious giving grapes to your kitties. I have no first hand experience but I have heard they can be toxic to cats and dogs.
Here is a link ---> http://www.cvm.uiuc.edu/petcolumns/s...cle.cfm?id=359

Enjoy your kitties

Yeah! It's so funny, it can get you out of any sort of bad mood.

Well, she was abandoned as a kitten so we picked her off the street, she was sooo affectionate but starving to death. Maybe it's just a feral cat thing? Now she's a real sweetheart, but also quite the diva as well. My cats are wierd! because she was actualy pregnant we gave her the name "mommy" which is good because before that we couldn't figure out a name for her.

My older cat scratches at the bathroom door, when I go in there. He walks to the "goody cabinet", stands there and shakes his tail when he wants a treat... that isn't so weird, is it? Gotta love em, anyway. My cats are wierd!

My cat's pretty mad too at times.
He likes Jam, Quavers and Cheddar Cheese.
Oh, and fries.

He's quite fat and only has three legs but when he's in a silly modd he's bomb round the house, run into things, jump around, scratch loads of paper then lie down and go to sleep.
You have to be there to find it funny though....

Oh and one time, he tried to sit on my books while I was revising, so I moved him onto my bed and he somehow managed to pull up all my covers and get in my bed, I was like "Aww!"
