Tonight I am cooking dinner for a friend and I. Her birthday was a few weeks ago and this is as soon as our schedules fit together so tonight is cheesy chicken and rice, mixed vegetables, rolls and strawberry sundaes for dessert. I got her some scrapbooking supplies as she scrapbooks like I do. We will eat dinner and then watch a movie. I have a few I have bought recently and haven't watched them so we are going to choose one and watch it.
So what are you guys doing tonight? Jbug __________________ I appreciate long walks especially when taken by people who annoy me. Noel Coward |

I'm probably going to start knitting a scarf out of this really fun multicoloured cotton thread I bought last weekend.
Planning what plants I need to buy tomorrow for my balcony garden. |

Tonight I am resting with my friends here on PC. It was a beautiful day today, almost 80. I blew off my diet by having a hot dog. Was tempted oh so very much to make a Morgan and coke but I conquered that notion!

I got up at 5AM this morning to go down to Marymoor Park for the Tour de Cure 100 mile bike race for diabetes. I was the medic at one of the rest stops. It was 90 degrees today and I thought for sure I'd get some seriously delirious dehydrated riders and all I got to treat was a few cases of sunburn! I guess that's a good thing, but it reminded me of sitting in the ER all night wondering where all the patients were...I guess it's not a full moon tonight.
I just put on my PJ's, gonna scare up some dinner and just veg. I could write a paper if I get the urge, but I doubt it. Perhaps I'll watch Juno again. Great little flick! XOXO, Okie __________________ |

Well Michelle just left. We watched the movie Starkweather about Charles Starkweather the serial killer from the 50's. I thought it was good. I'm now going to sit back and watch Indiana Jones.

I'm in bed, resting and trying to get well, and being quite well out of it from my new meds
Spending time with my mother who AMAZES me, as she has really come through for me in the last week. Usually she drives me crazy but she has totally taken care of me and the baby all week. We are watching some television. Im going to have a bath with the baby at some point, and I've been reading and smoking cigarettes (in the other room) And, I MAY be getting back together with an ex of mine...we are talking about it, and he was a GOOD ex not a you know what part of your bum one. I am excited, because he is very sweet and nice and we have so much fun together. he is also totally accepting of Jeremy, which means a whole heck of a lot. It would be a long distance relationship at first, since he lives in another province now but we talk everyday. He makes me laugh so much. And hes wickedly smart. And, hes also said he will stand by me no matter what through my illness, no matter where it takes me. Which is nice. I am thankful for living in a small town today - we ran out of infant formula because Jeremy took a sudden growth spurt this week and i didnt expect it to run out before tuesday when his new can comes in. Well we were able to call the pharmacy owner and he personally drove my mother down and gave her a free can of nestle good start even though the store was closed he opened it just for us. What else.. hmm, going to watch forest gump tonight on peachthree at eight EST. Pain is more manageable now though im a bit out of it. I have been able to hold Jeremy and play with him without hurting, though I am still nowhere near up and around. |
