Today I decided to take a walk back the lane...it was so freakin scary!!! The cows were out in the pasture that runs up and down the lane...and there was a bull in the bunch! Just my luck! I had my dog Roy with me and the bull was even scaring him!!!! He apparently was trying to tell the big bull to leave me alone...but it wasn't working!
On my way back home we passed them again. I didn't look at the cows...acted like I didn't see them. Anyone who knows anything about cows will tell you that the cows will follow you the whole entire time...well the bull was stamping his feet...ok...instant fear there! I decided to put a lot more distance between me and the cows so I walked up into the field and off the lane...that seemed to work. Well after they had quit following me I decided it was safe to go back on the lane...well then the freakin bull starts coming after me again! Snorting and screaming....well needless to say I made it home safely...god I hate cows! |

glad you're ok..... they are so nosey aren't they? I guess that's where the brit saying nosey cow comes from  I'mnot making light of this situation, sorry .... i don't like them when i'm in a field with then either .... hugs, Kerry xoxoxoxoxoxoxo |

I hate to tell yall this but cows are color blind, it is the movement they are after. I grew up next to a dairy and beef farmer
Watch those cows though, you never know what they are plotting Good story and I am glad you are ok TG! TJ |

I've only ever visited a bull at the zoo. I've seen a few cows up in Lancaster, PA.
Sounds like a scarey experience, glad you are home and safe. Dee

Thanks...I've always been afraid of cows because they always run right at you when you are near them...but this was just plain terrifying!
Brian...I think their thinking was that I was for dinner that day!!!! |

LoL. This made me laugh. I agree though, large animals can be intimidating.
