I am! I'm excited and gearing up to watch something that lasts, like, two minutes, lol. However, I am watching all of the pre-race stuff so that it's worth it.

I'm watching, too, though I feel a bit touchy about it since Barbaro and then Eight Belles this year. I'm sensitive by nature, and more so today. Keeping my fingers crossed for a great Triple Crown and a clean race.

I suppose it says something about me that what I noticed was the poor reporter ABC had on HORSEBACK.
Of all the crappy things I have done for stories, including getting Tasered, at least I didn't have to get in a ridiculous getup and ride a horse on national TV with a microphone in my hand! On another note, RIP, Jim McKay. I'll miss him. We didn't have dinner in my house on Saturdays till Wide World of Sports was over. |
